    nice vid, I'm in Everett, will be purchasing my 10th sailboat monday....probably a gray whale you saw, they're called the "Sounders". The come to Central Puget Sound to feed on ghost shrimp before continuing north to Alaska for the summer.

    How often does it happen that nets get caught in the propellors? Does at least one member of the crew need to be a deepsea diver? Seems like a very annoying problem. Suzie seemed exhausted once she climbed back on board. Great video!

      Hi Fred, It's good to be able to dive on your boat just in case you have an emergency, like this one, or to do any maintenance that is required such as changing zincs etc. It hasn't happened often but when it does it's good to be able to take care of it and yes, I was exhausted after cutting the netting off.       Hi, Our tafrail and rub rails are Hatteras off-white and our bulwark rails our linseed oiled nateral ipe wood. Not sure which you were asking about. Thanks for watching!
