Damn. I assumed you could just upload a .png or something to make custom liveries. I had _no idea_ it was this detailed. Mad respect to all of you guys making custom liveries for us to use. I didn't know you were actually working so hard at this.
you can actually do that theres a program in python that lets you import your images to the game and the A.I powered app will do all the job for you (PC Only)
I made Nezuko from demon slayer. 995 layers. 1000 was not enough for me. Still looks good for being made on PS5 with no programs. It's under Honda Integra.
Lies. I'm love my first drawing. Still holding the most inefficient award. 1000 layers of something I can do in 100 now. It's amazing what you can do with just a 1000 layers and they are still looks clean as fuck. As a Forza painter, it's hard for me to imagine not having my limit of 3000. Recently made Taihou-chan with 2600 and since I managed to make like 91% of the original design I consider it quite efficient. Tip from other anime painter: Start with anime. No chibi, no fanarts but pause anime you watching and draw what you see. This is the easiest you can go. Outlines in anime are simple and everything has basically two tones of colors - hair, skin, cloths etc.
Funnily enough, I still have my first drawings and I hate it. Also, drawing anime screencaps was how I started out in drawing. I never liked chibi stuff, I always felt that style was way too limiting, and you end up settling and would kinda stunt your growth.
@@feather268 I love decorating my cars with a chibi as the finishing touch, but that's because I have much more space to work with. Chibi despite the fact that they look simple, are not easy and fanarts are just awful for a noob. I know this from experience because my first one was a chibi and I only do fanarts. Wasn't easy to start like this :)
I taught myself on PS4 to do some really nice logos freehand (just eyeing it). Many of my liveries are in top 100, and some even in top 10 (Roadrunner is one). So I’m proud of that. But man, anime is so out of my league. I wish I had a way to overlay.
How do you cope with the fact that the crew motorfest livery editor doesn't have a way to make small incrimental changes? Also how do you do complex shapes like a bent U. Also also how do you deal with ghost-it not working sometimes? Like you click ghost and then it just bricks your pc
I use my thumb as a bump stop and tap the stick to make little changes, otherwise I just cope with the fact the editor is doggy doo doo. For more complex shapes sometimes you just need to take the hit and use a shit ton of shapes, but I do use the in-game letters for certain things though. For ghostit not work idk works on my machine, might have to give other programs a try.
hey man, ive been trying to find tutorials every where on how to do liveries on The Crew Motorfest, i really want to make a nice looking skull with a crown offset on top of the head. please can you show me!
Can you explain the line art a little more? I’ve been starting first by creating silhouettes of the character and then going over it with the color but if I make a mistake or have to create more line art on the inside I can’t find the right shape to use because the ones the do look like they would work skew in a weird way and I can’t get it to work. This is a great video and I’m starting on the crew motorfest making stuff after this video. I think they even fixed they group causing more layers in this game, unless I was looking at it wrong

For me, hair detailing is the one that takes the most of time as well as sanity

Tape a sheet with your drawing on your screen and turn the brightness to maximum
