THANKS A LOT CAUSE MY BOYFRIEND LOVES PLANTAINS SO I WANNA TRY THIS... HE'S NIGERIAN, I'M AMERICAN... LOVE HOW EASY YOU MAKE THESE RECIPES LOOK I LOVE UR CHANNEL SISI
You are my favourite when it comes to quick recipe ideas. I love how straight to the point your food channel is. Thanks for another wonderful recipe. Looks delicious.
Thank you for the recipe, looks so delicious😋 going to try it! Just a tip, when using plastic materials be very careful not to heat to high temperatures. The plastic leaches chemicals to your food and the air. I worked as an engineer with fluoroplolymers for 5 plus years....opened my eyes to what we are exposed to.
I'm shocked, I didn't think I'd ever see someone cook plastics in the 21st century. But it is so common in West Africa, they'd put hot scalding food in super thin plastic bags. Sad
Plastics are bad for you. I avoid plastics if I can. Causes breast cancer, fibroid, endometriosis and so many other hormone sensitive diseases. Great video overall.
I had never heard of plaintain moi moi before now. It looks really nice, I can’t wait to try it. I need to research where I can get plaintain flour now.
Nice and well presented. Strangely I have never heard of plantain moimoi before. I will try this out soon. However using plastic with heat is a no no. Pls this is dangerous to health. Thanks for sharing.
Love this and it caught my attention today. I intend to make it but using ramekins, perhaps covered with foil? My question is what do I substitute for the plantain flour as I am not sure I can get that where I live.
@@SisiJemimahsRecipes I appreciate how you acknowledge it's not your concept. This is apeti or ikpa and it's native to the Ijaws. I'm from kalabari, Rivers State and I ate this growing up everyday. You can make thicker and fry it like akara. So yummy with pepper sauce.
Looks delicious ..but I would be cautious in using plastic to and steam..because of the chemicals in the plastic...I will have to try your recipe using Mason Jars...more for canning...
In her list of ingredients it says, plantain flour or corn meal. I think you need that to help create that moi moi texture that you get with beans or bean flour.
