You are literally in my hometown where I grew up. I could actually see that island from my house and I got to witness it being built and remember the island before the house existed. For reference I grew up in Oakland (not sure if you went down that way), but either way it's nice to see and makes me miss home!!

Hi guys. I remember Strum Is. well when I was still living in NS and doing a lot of sailing in the area. Strum was always a good reference when sailing into Mahone Bay town, in the fog, which is not uncommon. Back then it was just a tiny ,bare island at the mouth of the harbour. There was quite a local controversy when sold to an “outsider”. 😉. Looks like an amazing resort. Thanks for the tour . Cheers, Dan ✌️🇨🇦
I remember a little controversy too, I don't think it was too serious. I think it was because the beautiful island was nearly clear cut. I see many trees have grown back.

Wow 🤩. The last time time I was awed by a location to stay at for a vacation was the video showcasing Vinpearl Resort in Vietnam. This mansion is something I would expect to see in Architectural Digest on TH-cam 🏨 🤯.
There are 2 things that came to mind when seeing this vlog. One is..imagine what a party you can throw with a place like this! Yeah baby! New Years Eve Extravaganza! Second...what a backdrop for a murder mystery story. LOL!! All the guests disappear one by one..and you discover the killer is one of them! *gasp*! Funny thoughts seeing a mansion on an island....🏤
You'd b shocked if u knew how many thousands of acres is owned by non Canadians. Yrs ago old poor people with hundreds of acres along our beautiful coast sold it for pennies basically because no one really knew the value. My hubby's great grandmother and grandfather was one of them. We cringe at what cld have been kept in the family. Some is but nothing fancy.
Unfortunately, yours is the only video (other than videographer) I have found for this property. I hope you get a cut when it does sell! lol. I not only do multiple videos for different platforms, I do paid promotions on youtube for my listing videos.With any MLS and especially with a multi million dollar listing, sellers should expect some money be spent on marketing and advertising- not just a sign in the lawn or uploaded to MLS. EXPECT More! Just doing year end report on listings here in Nova Scotia and I found the top 3 properties (5 million and up) don't have videos on youtube or only have under 1000 views.! Exposing your property to the greatest number of buyers is how you get top price.
