I like this idea just enough that I want to give it a try as well. I find Antyke to be very adorable, and the most official fakemon design out of most other fakemon I've seen in my everyday life (when I'm on the computer of course). I like Porygod as well; it does seem to be something out of a special event like in Legends Arceus. Hamask is just straight up The Mask possessing a body (in this case, a poor little pig, and not green). I know of that movie btw. Not my favorite design. Can you reuse the pig's body and make a regional Lechonk with it? When you were showing Sumowoodo's sped sketching, I imagined the spinning dojo dragons pillars from Kung Fu Panda, but it's not a bad design anyway. I thought Hoppiny was going to be a rabbit (I mean rabbits and kangaroos both hop, although rabbits don't have pouches, so it makes more sense now). And Trapunch reminded me of HoopsandHipHop's Fighting type starter from one of his videos, with the orange skin and being a fighting type, plus Trapunch almost looks a bit like a turtle to me, without the shell though.
I have a different bone to pick. In 7:36 you said that Metatheria are marsupials that laid eggs. But that’s incorrect. Metatheria is a group of mammals that includes marsupials as a crown group and their closest relatives as stem groups. Together with Eutheria and a few other extinct stem species, Metatheria forms the Theria wich are all assumed to have given birth to live young without an eggshell/ they are all viviparous. They also all have teats, a perineum and no coracoids. The close relationship you propose between marsupials and monotremes is an existing hypothesis without much support. The proposed group that includes Metatheria and monotremes is called Marsupionta. In other words: All placental mammals and marsupials seem to have a common ancestor wich already didn’t lay eggs over 125 million years ago, and therefor none of the stem groups of those 2 crown groups of mammals individually laid eggs either.
Thumbnail idea:Show the real concept behind one of the fakemons in the video at left side on the iconic Truegreen7 thumbnail background. Then show have an arrow pointing at the SILHOUETTE of the fake Pokémon you created at right side. This would: 1. Would spoil less part of the video (at least 20-25% of the video gets spoiled in the current thumbnail style). 2. It's still easy to recognise the creator from the iconic background. 3. Pays respect to Pokémon's connections with silhouettes.
I would make Sudowoodo into Sudowoolo. A wolf in sheep's clothing, hence the "Sudo" part Edit : bro how did this get so many likes and comments? I swear this is a new record for me
I love the proportions of Hamask, it reminds me of No Face in his more bestial form! Also Sumowoodo being like a split evo to Bonsly is such a Pokémon thing to do.
I love the Porygon line, so I absolutely was thrilled to see Porygod. I love to think that it blames Pikachu (for being banned with its new otherworldly knowledge) and it wants to eliminate them

Because of that episode, Porygon is banned from appearing in any future episodes of the anime even though it was Pikachu's electricity that gave people seizures.
I saw a trend going around on IG of artists making new pokemon out of the same name of existing mons. So like an electric, baby goat (kid) based on Elekid or a ram based pokemon called Rampardos. Would love to see you tackle this little trend!
I would let a colony of Antyke live in my home rent free. That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen (once the eyes were colored in lol). Hoppiny is also so adorable! It's crazy how good you are at designing cute AND cool pokemon.
conversely, i would imagine 2 distinct extensions from Trapunch: 1) as an alternate evolution line from Trapunch into a more defensive and bulk alt-Flygon 2) Trapunch as an branch evolution from Trapinch with base stats more comparable to Staraptor
Would love to see more of the Hoppiny line. Whether it be in a sequel or another series entirely. I mean going from Chansey to Khansey could just about be made into the kangaroo theme, but I have no idea what letter could be changed to make Blissey work.

Okay, review time!: 1) Antyke: Since I'm not a fan of Mantyke, because I don't know how to evolve into Mantine, Antyke looks pretty cute! I would imagine if it evolves into Antine! 2) Porygod: This looks better than the whole "Bidoof God" bullcrap that's been going on on the internet. I would also imagine that Porygod Z would be based off a Beta Arceus as well! =D 3) Hamask: Of all the Ghost-types that I like (and some of the Pokémons that are based off of Japanese Youkais as well), Hamask's really take the cake on that one! 💜 I would imagine if its evolution was something different? 👻 🐖 4) Sumowoodo: Although I don't use Sudowoodo, I would like to Sumowoodo as my final team member. I would imagine if its pre-evolved form would also be sumo-based... 🤔 5) Hoppiny: I can't tell if Hoppiny's either a rabbit or a kangaroo, but it does look adorable. I would imagine if Blissey was based off of a mama kangaroo... ❤ and finally, 6) Trapunch: Back in my middle school years, I drew Gary Brolsma, aka the Numa Numa Guy, as a Trapinch. It’s a fun exercise to come up with these. Piglett (pig diglett) Crocosaw (saw shark + crocodile) Teracross (permanent terastallized heracross. Think fungus infected ant but crystals). Singdra (siren baby!) Sailmer (boat wailmer) Gorabyss (eldritch horror that evolves from giving a campearl a deep sea scale from the lowest point in the ocean) Carnivile (dark circus Pokémon. maybe a fake tent Venus fly trap) Darkray (Cresselia sacrificed itself to partially merge with darkrai. This darkray has some shred of humanity and kindness, eating the nightmares of children to help them… but tormenting horrible people until they go insane).
Trapunch would translate well to change it's evolution's names into something like Vibrave and Flygun The lore of that last one is that it goes from a fight club like mentioned in the video to a full on mafia lol
It's funny because Sudowoodo evolves from a baby pokemon that does nothing but Cry, but Sumowoodo is a Sumo, and Sumo have a holiday dedicated to them in Japan where parents take their children to them so they can make kids cry. Makes it pretty perfect.
The idea of a more energetic happini/blissey line isn't that far fetched. And you can always just play off the egg part as, well, all pokemon lay eggs, mammalian or not. Also, just the idea of looking into a sand pit and seeing a trapunch looking up at me, as it bangs its pincers together is both hilarious, and utterly terrifying.
I have to be honest these are amazing i love em i think hamask and trapunch are my favorites i would love to see these guys as new convergent species for a new region (that u might make someday not getting hopes up) or for the scarlet and violet Dlc's i would love to see these guys like em someday you're incredible Ron don't give up until the very end i believe in you 😉👍
Yamask psychic grass it’s a potato (yam) that asks questions. Heatran pure fire it’s the fastest fire type Metagross steel poison it’s like a pile of mercury sludge (metal+gross) Mew normal poison it’s a gross cat (possibly inspired by glowing radiation cats, look it up) mew as in the noise cats make & ‘ew’ Machamp steel normal he’s really loud (mach+amp)
I was stumped at the Trapunchs 410 Statline, since 4*45+100+10=290. Same with Hoppiny 80+15+2*5+65+50=220. Then I saw that Sumowoodo had the correct 410 Statline and I think you may have not adjusted that number afterwards.
A suggestion with this trend in mind: Busharp. We do already have sharp, prickly Grass-types, especially the ones who learn Spiky Shield, so this would be far from a new unique design unless.. it's also based on harp or harpy. & the 'har' in the name could be adopted into char or chirp. Idk I'm just throwing out ideas w/o truly realising how tough it'd be to blend these together coherently, but I've learned that fakemon artists like you are no slouch, being able to pull off some amazing feats sometimes, so I trust you with the concept provided to cr8 something incredible.

We NEED more Ant Pokemon and I want this baby ant to be the prevo!! Porygon's finally ascended past it's harsh origins and I LOVE this! All these are cute, regal, and hilarious ^^
Porygod could genuinely be a legendary in a Pokemon game. Not a box legendary, but one you'd get post game after some weird time travel thing where you go to the time period when Porygod existed and was wreaking havoc, but the player catches it instead of Arceus getting rid of its powers. These are all great ideas for convergent forms. I could easily see Antyke, Sumowoodo, Hoppiny, or Trapunch in a future game. Antyke would probably evolve into Antine, but the other three could have completely new and original evolutions and pre-evolutions. And I like to imagine the lore with Hamask would be that an Oinkologne stumbled on a Yamask mask and became possessed.
These are all honestly very good! They'd all, except for Porygod for the reasons you mentioned, be great as regional variants or convergent evolutions! I want a Sumowoodo and a Trapunch! That Hamask made me think of the fate of Legion from the Bible.

That’s a really cool idea but it’s kinda odd since Yamask isn’t a demon it’s just the spirit of a dead person. That might have to be an entirely new Pokémon.

I think it would be most fitting to initially only offer Porygod as a movie distribution event, where you've already seen how its story plays out. If you try to put a Ditto with it in a daycare, the Ditto is replaced the next day by a Porygon-Z that knows Judgment. You can then trade these Judgment-knowing Porygon-Z to other players. Games released after this event would introduce a new item that must be held by a Porygon-Z in daycare who knows Judgment. Both it and whatever other Pokémon you left there, are permanently deleted (including the held item) and replaced by an egg the next day. Hatching this egg does not give you the hatched Pokémon immediately, but instead you must fight a Level 100 Porygon-Z with IVs and EVs maxed out, which is immune to balls and knows Judgment. Beat it, and you get a *_real_* egg which finally hatches into a Porygod. The item you need Porygon-Z to hold, there's only one of it in each game (it'll have a flag preventing its sale), meaning the loop must be completed again for each game.
Without ears, hamask kinda looks like it was butchered for like food- but after the head fell off the mask is revealed like EMERGING FROM THIS DEAD NECK and starts rampaging
Then there's the trend where you take the name as is and make a brand new pokemon out of the same name, even making a new evolution line out of unrelated pokemon (Like Staryu and Staraptor).

When you first brought up yamask my first thought was a yamask guarding its mask and being protective over it, called mamask.

The fact that Hamask looks like a leg of ham makes it even better
The idea of a more energetic happini/blissey line isn't that far fetched. And you can always just play off the egg part as, well, all pokemon lay eggs, mammalian or not.
Also, just the idea of looking into a sand pit and seeing a trapunch looking up at me, as it bangs its pincers together is both hilarious, and utterly terrifying.
Based on the height, I think it is easier for Sumowoodo to compete with Makuhita than Hariyama.

I have to be honest these are amazing i love em i think hamask and trapunch are my favorites i would love to see these guys as new convergent species for a new region (that u might make someday not getting hopes up) or for the scarlet and violet Dlc's i would love to see these guys like em someday you're incredible Ron don't give up until the very end i believe in you 😉👍

Yamask psychic grass it’s a potato (yam) that asks questions.
Heatran pure fire it’s the fastest fire type
Metagross steel poison it’s like a pile of mercury sludge (metal+gross)
Mew normal poison it’s a gross cat (possibly inspired by glowing radiation cats, look it up) mew as in the noise cats make & ‘ew’
Machamp steel normal he’s really loud (mach+amp)

I was stumped at the Trapunchs 410 Statline, since 4*45+100+10=290. Same with Hoppiny 80+15+2*5+65+50=220. Then I saw that Sumowoodo had the correct 410 Statline and I think you may have not adjusted that number afterwards.

A suggestion with this trend in mind: Busharp. We do already have sharp, prickly Grass-types, especially the ones who learn Spiky Shield, so this would be far from a new unique design unless.. it's also based on harp or harpy. & the 'har' in the name could be adopted into char or chirp. Idk I'm just throwing out ideas w/o truly realising how tough it'd be to blend these together coherently, but I've learned that fakemon artists like you are no slouch, being able to pull off some amazing feats sometimes, so I trust you with the concept provided to cr8 something incredible.

Porygod could genuinely be a legendary in a Pokemon game. Not a box legendary, but one you'd get post game after some weird time travel thing where you go to the time period when Porygod existed and was wreaking havoc, but the player catches it instead of Arceus getting rid of its powers.
These are all great ideas for convergent forms. I could easily see Antyke, Sumowoodo, Hoppiny, or Trapunch in a future game. Antyke would probably evolve into Antine, but the other three could have completely new and original evolutions and pre-evolutions. And I like to imagine the lore with Hamask would be that an Oinkologne stumbled on a Yamask mask and became possessed.

These are all honestly very good! They'd all, except for Porygod for the reasons you mentioned, be great as regional variants or convergent evolutions! I want a Sumowoodo and a Trapunch!

That’s a really cool idea but it’s kinda odd since Yamask isn’t a demon it’s just the spirit of a dead person. That might have to be an entirely new Pokémon.

I think it would be most fitting to initially only offer Porygod as a movie distribution event, where you've already seen how its story plays out. If you try to put a Ditto with it in a daycare, the Ditto is replaced the next day by a Porygon-Z that knows Judgment. You can then trade these Judgment-knowing Porygon-Z to other players.
Games released after this event would introduce a new item that must be held by a Porygon-Z in daycare who knows Judgment. Both it and whatever other Pokémon you left there, are permanently deleted (including the held item) and replaced by an egg the next day. Hatching this egg does not give you the hatched Pokémon immediately, but instead you must fight a Level 100 Porygon-Z with IVs and EVs maxed out, which is immune to balls and knows Judgment. Beat it, and you get a *_real_* egg which finally hatches into a Porygod.
The item you need Porygon-Z to hold, there's only one of it in each game (it'll have a flag preventing its sale), meaning the loop must be completed again for each game.
Without ears, hamask kinda looks like it was butchered for like food- but after the head fell off the mask is revealed like EMERGING FROM THIS DEAD NECK and starts rampaging
Then there's the trend where you take the name as is and make a brand new pokemon out of the same name, even making a new evolution line out of unrelated pokemon (Like Staryu and Staraptor).
I normally don’t like or leave comments, but man was I impressed by this video and your creativity. Trapunch was my favorite of them all. The lore would fit so nicely in a more mature Pokémon game
