With all the Salmon popping up in freshwater I wouldn't mind if California halted it for another two or so years. They're so over fished it would be good to stock up on some for a few years.

Do you need to add weight to the hoops to help keep them down? I just got a kayak to try this out but I’m not sure if adding weight to the hoop is necessary or not
