For anyone who wants to know more about what this song is for, this conference raised 1 million dollars to start an SVU unit in Atlanta, GA (where this specific one is held) and 2.6 million for different organizations, one of which is called the A-21 Campaign. Check out the video "Our 5th Birthday" to see what the A-21 Campaign is all about, and what type of organizations this conference supports. THAT is what this song is all about.
All these years later, after seeing and being a part of the movement that the movie “Sound of Freedom” has unleashed, I wonder if anyone else remembers this. These were the days that started it all. I remember being apart of this and all the End It moments to follow. It’s amazing to see the charge to freedom still strong here in 2023, even having 3 kids of my own now. Gods children are not for sale
“End It” specifically was this era of passion, of course there are and were more organizations before this. Simply stating the significance of this particular

Thank you for this song . . . from the mother of a missing human trafficking victim, Jessie Foster. Taken from Canada to the USA . . . missing since March 29, 2006 - 6 years missing this month.
Passion 2012 has ignited a spark in so many young peoples' lives to stand up against the injustice of modern slavery. Thanks to all of those who contributed to Passion and raising awareness to what is happening today.
This song cures the heart, mind, and soul to every believer here on earth. I'm proud being a Born again Christian that I'm embracing from the past to the present time. (John 3:16)
Everytime i listen to this song, i can't help but be thankful for them ( artists ) for making us all aware about the seriousness of human trafficking... Thanks guys and for the great song... Very moving..
So true, music festivals (like this one) spark a nerve in our lives. And that ignition Is gods passional fire. I am 13. Ever since the music festival I went to in nottingham (big church night in) I have seen things in such a different way. That isn't through our eyes, it's through gods.
We've got to rise up, open our eyes up Be her voice, be her freedom, come on stand up! We've got to rise up, open our eyes up Be her voice, be her freedom, come on stand up! We've got to rise up, open our eyes up Be her voice, be her freedom, come on stand up! We've got to rise up, open our eyes up Be her voice, be her freedom, come on stand up!
I saw these guys a few years ago in my local park. It was AMAZING! I was right up at the front, being pushed against the stage and middle speaker. This song was amazing. These guys are amazing
This song did lifted my spirit up in your name.... I almost went out with an autistic girl who was almost 21 years old this past year from my former church up. She was a slave under her mom's wing and Iam glad Iam free. Too much manipulation from Human Trafficking creates drama Iam glad I said No, to it
Recently did an awareness event by standing with my youth group. We literally stood for 27 hours. No sitting. No sleeping. For the 27 million slaves. It was a great experience!
wooooow fantastic!!!!!!!!! I'm speechless - As a french lady, I tried to understand the meaning of this vid and I saw the translation in french - Thanks so much for this great message & performance and explanations from RIRracheel - you guys are amazing - blessings from France!
I've listened to this song a million times in the last couple of days but I can't get enough of it! I try and have it on as background music but I can't help but watch the video, it's so amazing and so powerful :-) so wish I could've gone to one of their gigs!
I was at the conference where they debuted the song. They made it upbeat because it was a conference full of college-aged students, and they knew they'd get more into it if it was upbeat and something they could dance to. Additionally, the song would be listened to more by the masses if it were upbeat. The song is simply to raise awareness. The lyrics - if you listen to them - are not cheery at all. Just because something has a good beat doesn't mean it's not serious.
Absolutely Amazing. In A Few Months Time They Could Actually Achieve What The Video Shows. I Heard + Saw Thm Live 2day And They Can Sing Perfectly Live. Oh And The Girl Is Reallyy Pretty! x
You can buy your ticket here: www.eo.nl/beam/evenement/eojongerendag/reserveren/individuen/ Be fast! Before it's all gone! by the way, the event is on 6th of June, 2015
And I do get why this song is a likable one. There are tons of glee and high school musical fans out there. And this song fits that type of bill. I personally thought this song was probably about having the joy of Christ and spreading the gospel and having love.. When I actually listened to the lyrics and found it was addressing the type of serious nature it did.. I got why my girlfriend was outraged.
Thats True... Today human trafficking still exist and that too on a large scale. women still being sold. Give you voice. Stand up for Justice. Stand up for God !
With them playing a song like this that can send chills of awesomeness down my spine just listening to it, the thought of actually being there and feeling all that would be absolutely foreign to me. I bet that was intense :D
Okay so people want to know why this song is so cheery and up beat. the first time we used this song on our (YLA's) Flashmob in different part f Davao, i saw a Vision a heavy, strong energy or a current arising inside the mall . In addition to that,we already performed this song On our flashmob (preventing Anti-human Trafficking) several times.. Stop Human Traffickers!!!

I was at Passion for this too, but the movement against human trafficking didn’t start here and it certainly didn’t start with Sound of Freedom.

My favorite part is when Matt Redman says, "Come on stand up, stand up!"
a Christian singer/songwriter who pumps out awesome tunes...he's like Brighton's very own Owl City!

This song is to raise awareness about the most serious injustice in our world today. What's bad about that?!
