I started this back in January after I read the leaked book, and I decided to take my time and upload it once the book was officially released. There's spoilers for the end of the book, so be careful

I came back after finishing the book, AND I UNDERSTAND THIS! Boa’s story is so horrible, it’s honestly so disturbing! This expressed the story so well! OMYGOD
Yeah the Jerboas where the most disturbing part-
Genuinely one of the most messed up parts in the series (right next to Arctic's death and pedo Whirpool)

Agreed. I just finished reading the book and my god.. I feel horrible for her.
I am both so mad at Boa for stopping every animus ever, and sad for her endless suffering.

I FEEL SO BAD FOR HER i had an idea she was the one who did it, but eh backstory is so sad! I really didnt expecct it.
Boa’s story is very sad when you dig deeper into it. Her whole life she never was herself, she was always someone new, someone her mother wanted her to be. Boa was controlled and enchanted to be just the way her mother liked her to be. And when Boa found out, she had to freeze her mother and bury her. Then she lost most of her talons and her tail barb.
Yes very sad I still think Freedom had the saddest backstory though poor baby 😭

honestly i genuinly felt terrible for what jerboa had to go through :\ it still doesnt explain how the origanal jerboa got her animus powers in the first place thouhg
@@splash2596 I don't think so. on the barnes and noble exclusive poster there was a picture of her with Jerboa with baby jerboa and the adult jerboa defintely seemed like a full sandwing, unless she happened to have really weird genetics. plus if she was a hybrid, would she be part seawing or part icewing? Probably neither right? since both icewings and seawings would be cautious about there animi and if jerboa did have a parent with icewing/seawing blood within them, wouldnt that make her royalty?
I'm pretty sure the sandwings used to have animus blood, but Jerboa was the last one

This is a masterpiece! The expressions, emotions, design, EVERYTHING, is outstanding!! I just finished book 14 today and MAN, poor Jerboa.
This is gorgeous and reflects Jerboa and Boa's relationship so well
But three moons I can't tell which is which--

I flipped open the book to the visions of Jerboa and Boa and couldn’t stop reading then with basically tears in my eyes I went back to where I actually was in the book. I figured out like a few weeks ago that the first Jerboa cloned herself and did something horrible with Boa (possibly took another dragon and turned them into her perfect daughter) (or made it so that every time she got old a new clone who also was an animus would magically appear plus something idk) that’s why Jerboa (the third) wanted to end animus magic. But this is so. So. Much worse than I thought it was. Almost no parent in Wings Of Fire is actually a good one and that hurts.
I feel like one of the only good parents was secretkeeper, but I can’t think of any others. She might be the _only_ good parent. Coral had deep love that couldn’t be broken for all of her daughters, but that doesn’t mean she was a _good_ parent. It really is sad when you think about it

i finished the book last night after putting it down for awhile, and oh my god this is so perfect!! snowfall's vision of jerboa and boa was honestly devastating, and i love this vid sm for capturing the tone of the chapters!

I think that making the Eye of Onyx really send Jebora l's life down. If she didn't make it, Scorpion wouldn't want her dead, she wouldn't have to hide, and she probably would've stayed mostly sane. Nope. She made her tribe's life a lot better with the Onyx, but ruined her own sanity, and made Boa suffer for it.

Speaking of The Dangerous Gift, my mother bought it for me on the scholastic website, in March. It's April 30 and I still don't have it. My teacher said she was going to mail the book to my house once she got it from the school. Why does the place I live in have to do this to meeeee!!!!!!! >:(

She’s not evil for getting rid of animus magic, darkstalker was going to take over the continent with magic and was going to use the animus’ as slaves. Of course she would be scared of someone abusing their animus magic.
