Get a bag you can strap to the bike that'll carry water, snacks and a small tool kit and then just go and have fun. After a while once you've got a bit more experience you may want to upgrade the rear suspension, as it's very soft, if you start picking up the pace off tarmac. In the meantime if you break something, then think about an upgraded farkle. The only other thing you might want to add is bar risers if you are stretching too much while standing on the pegs. Just go out and have fun riding.
I’m not a motorcyclist, I’m a very experienced Equestrian and You’re sounding like you’re trying to be “all the gear, no idea”. Get some miles on the clock, it will be totally obvious what you need and what’s more important. Happy travels and don’t forget to pass horses wide (2m away) and Slow (10 mph). Say safe. P.S. I ride that “green lane”… 😁
Late to the show, but maybe you found another 1k. If not suspension work or tires. My biggest bang for the buck that would leave ya something left over is:more!!!! paid coached training, with a focus on the type oif riding you want.In a few of your videos you've talked about being nervous too. One of the best ways to speed run experience is to stand on the shoulders of giants! Extra points for making it a holiday training location. For the lowering thing, its for the birds! I also have the same pair of pants, different colour, fantastic! Spendy tho. Hope you enjoy the new bike great video (:
@@marchofthecontraption8060 hi thanks for watching and you’re right, I didn’t lower etc. love it the way it is. Did change handle bar and now love the positioning especially when standing and yes need to go on some training days.
Full Yoshi exhaust system. 550 Performance ECU flash stage 1 if you have access to at least 91 octane. Rally Raid rear shock. Spend the extra for remote hydrolic preload adjuster. Race Tech spring kit with upgraded fork oil and SKF fork seals. Cheers bro!
Controversial opinion... Keep the money in your pocket, go out and ride the bike how you intend to... What if you spend the lolly on upgrades/decals etc and first time you go out you break something that money could have replaced.... Also this will give you a better idea of what you might want to upgrade, are the pegs ok for you?, is the ride height an issue?, does that rear shock need upgrading? Wait to see what you do, love the vids. ATB James
@@BadHairAdventures James you are sensible and logical thinking, unlike me! I was out today on it and I’m realising what you’ve just said is what I need to do. Take my time, slow down, see what works for me. I won’t lie but I can be a bit like a child in a sweet shop… can’t help myself, already been window shopping today for it. I’ll try and hang back a bit. Thanks for watching.
@@wright-adventure I am very similar myself, like yourself I've only just started my motorbike journey (since Feb) and am still on L plates... Went to "look" at bikes and literally put £500 deposit on the first one I sat on haha

You can get the SeatConcepts lowered seat. I wouldn't bother with lowering the rear suspension in fear of messing up the bike's handling.
