Parth Varma hails from a family of doctors, but intense desire for action pushed him to train as a helicopter EMT and then as a Coast Guard Aviation Survival Technician. After seeing his daring rescues G.I. Joe recruiters honed his zeal for thrills with modified SPIE and Pararescue training, crafting him into an exfiltration expert. Never missing his target, Wolf Spider drops from the heavens to evacuate fellow Joes from the most dire situations. So I feel like maybe we could get a repaint but I feel like this look fits him best.
Despite my amazing restraint for applying customs paints, Wolf Spider will 100% have a lot of dark black accents painted on certain places; for sure the backpack rope, the ugly ugly colored antenna, and the blues to either NV green or IR red.
I basically loaded out mine with the mountaineering loadout from Gridiron, it just seems the right accessories for this guy, plus I ordered an extra one for custom fodder so now I have 3 total. As far as the backpacks go, why are the pegs on all the Classified so gummy but the retro figures backpacks are nice and hard (that’s what she said)? You should ask Lenny next time you have him on your video and also where the f$&k is Blowtorch!!!! One thing I do hope Hasbro does, is if this is a Beachhead variant created into a new figure I hope they continue to do this with variants of other figures to give us every variant from the 80/90s but introducing new characters into the fold, this would be great.

I like the figure as it is but I feel like it’s just a beach head like remix with a new name and backstory as of what that was when he was announced. I personally wish that they’d give these guys a head sculpt unmasked for more variety since he’s not really of the ninja armies of figures they tend to make pretty often. I get it is easier to mask up a figure and not offer a head sculpt that could not be well received lol but it gets a bit dull for these Joe figures. I get the cobra commander one and the ninja crew being masked up perpetually but these Joes like Parth and Beach Head namely should have a unmasked head sculpt to add more variety to the diorama or photography people would do with those two, just my take. He’s a solid figure and I enjoy his accessories. Curious to see what else if anything they end up doing with wolf spider. The antenna on mine never stays in unfortunately lol but you can’t win them all with the Joe line 😂 I find the issue of the backpack to be an issue with standing the figure up but I have the same challenge with Lt Falcon with the backpack on also. It just seems like the backpacks are much heavier than they should for the figure to easily pose with it on exploding using a stand of course Great review
@@whateverman2734 agreed, it adds variety to the collection and photography options imo. I tend to use Marvel Legends a lot for mine. I know most wouldn’t dare to use this for their unmasked beach head continuity but I used Quicksilver’s head sculpt from the Marvel movies like for my version of unmasked BH. For Parth I haven’t found one just yet as a stand in unmasked head sculpt. Wolf spider was an incredible surprise hit for me last year

Looks to me like the stress wasn’t worth the one day. Now if you were stressing over getting EELS from Amazon AT ALL then you’d be starting to make some sense.
Walmart delivered 2 of these to my door a week ago and then they delivered 2 more for whatever unknown reason, thanks for the free figs Walmart, guess I’m troop building Parth now 🧐🤨 Great figure though, mostly.

I guess a few (no names given) were harassing him to get their orders early and bitching when they couldn’t.
I got lucky and waited a lil bit on him and got a deal for less than 20.00 with shipping so I can’t complain. Only issue I had was the head is very loose gonna have to add a lil clear fingernail polish to the inside. And of course the brace on the shotgun is constantly falling off. Thinking I’m gonna do a lil custom work on him but overall satisfied with the figure.
Great review. I have him on order, looking forward to him. However, bummed you got a fused joint. Those seem to be popping up more and more of late. I just got 2 Steel Brigade packs, and both male troopers had fused butterfly joints. There's not an easy way to put really strong leverage on the butterfly without popping the arm out. I ended up doing the boiled water bath, which softened it up, but still wouldn't come loose. While it was still soft, I worked at it with an X-acto knife -- the entire front of that butterfly joint cup was melted into the inside of the torso. No was that was getting forced apart. Ended up sending both back for returns. :(

I do wish he had an unmasked head, but my head I made back in September works great for me. “Trouble getting the figure” translates to those douche canoes who hassled Return of the Nerd when he couldn’t get more early and made his Tourette’s kick in hard. Such a shitty move.
The deco on Classified Night Force Big Ben is pretty much a match for his v1 look. Likewise, the only other figure that was done for Shooter was in a “night ops” style. I don’t think we’ll be getting “regular” versions of Big Ben, Shooter, or Wolf Spider. Safest bet would be “classic” style versions of the Night Force figures we’re getting with the Dragonfly (in other words, classic decos of Ripcord and Crazylegs are almost definitely gonna pop up in the Retro line).
Weirdly, while the yellow seems counterintuitive for "Night Force", it really sells the figure. Especially that amazing helmet.

I don’t mind what he comes with but he does need a SMG. As nice as Gridiron is, it’s hard to justify a loadout that costs more than the actual figure.

Reminds me of a mix of Beach Head, FireFly and Kamakura, which are my favorites.
