// Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there // With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair // She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns //

      They're so foolish.
They still haven't figured out what the rest of the industry pretty much has: that they get more $ (& €, & ¥, & £, & ฿, & ₽, &c) if they leave these tracks up than take them down. Shortsighted greed is shortsighted.

    This is brilliance.
Thanks for giving it the REAL hifi treatment it requires.
Don't think I've heard this one before; any idea which performance, when, where, &c?

I met a woman in the graveyard tonight. Really strange cos I’d been thinking about her yesterday and today. I was hoping to meet her. For years now I’ve had a memorial card my mother had kept relating to her 16 year old then older sister who died 7/7/76. Poor girl was hit by a car near the Moneymore Road in Magherafelt. She was on a bicycle at the time. I was away at the time in Teelin near Slieve League (highest sea cliffs in Europe btw) which I saw for first time that summer. Irish language school and the teachers made us walk up there which took hours on the hottest summer ever. Anyways, I drove this woman here. Only us two in graveyard and she had walked there. I gave her a memorial card my mum had kept of her sister. In pristine condition. She was overjoyed. She had come to my dad’s funeral and month’s mind. A caring woman. Mother of four. Midwife. A husband called Joe whom she seemed eager to phone and reassure she would be home soon…. I was in the same year as her youngest sister for 14 years. She wasn’t part of my trendy crowd. But she was a nice girl too. Very hardworking and became a GP. I last met her on the day of the A level results in August 1981. Her sister Teresa died on Tony’s 16th birthday. I met Tony with my then boyfriend Michael on Tony’s 27th birthday when I had a drink with the two of them as Michael wanted me to meet his best friend. Michael died 8 months later leaving a note which devastated me for years saying he loved me more than anything else on earth. I’d no fucking idea of that. He certainly didn’t communicate that to me while alive. Four years after Michael died, I got involved with Tony who up until then had been with a lovely woman called Mary while having affairs all over the shop. I’d not even seen him that way. I liked her more. He suddenly kissed me one night in a pub in Tooting and left Mary the next morning. To this day I think she blames me for the break up of her and Tony and I never bothered to tell her there had been three or four others in the background when she did night shifts. Women who she considered her friends. But as I often told Tony we should never have got involved. He was always a better friend than lover. And of course, leopards and spots. Anytime we so much as had a tiff about where to go on holiday, it was quite amazing how some woman would telepathically know this and end up in his bed within 24 hours. And all the women had fairly male names too. Jo and Sam and there might even have been a Frankie too. Fuck knows what all that was about. Except a serious error of judgement on my part. I remember telling my friend Trish who loaned me money recently, about 25 years ago, cos she asked, what’s in his favour. Well I said he’s a good shag and he’s a good cook. She said CC!, why TF don’t you marry him? I said well I want more than that. She told me I was mad. My expectations of men were too great. That most women never even get that. FFFFS. But I’m not most women.

The vocals here sound almost like he's impersonating Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead
