Million Miles completely written by Angelina herself a heart felt performance showing Angelina’s unique range and beautiful soulful pitch perfect voice!
The most amazing thing about this song, she wrote this at 14 years of age about her grandfather. This is the supernova DNA she didn't know she had.❤❤❤❤
Absolutely phenomenal performance from our barefoot Princess, Angelina wrote recorded and performed Million Miles in several formats, not Angelina’s first original but her first original when she signed with Republic Records at the age of 14 years old, Angelina wrote Million Miles as a tribute to her Grandfather who passed away and for anyone who has lost a loved one, the lyrics version the artwork is from Angelina’s Grandma who is a talented artist and poet, the music video featuring Angelina’s Uncle and sister Juliette having fun together, the studio version is amazing in black and white the pianist in this studio version is Two times Grammy Award winner Rob Christie the musical director of Republic Records, Angelina is not only a multi talented vocalist she is a intelligent songwriter to and speaks 4-5 languages fluently and plays instruments the piano guitar flute and violin, great song great reaction thanks 🙏
With tears running down my face, I want to say thank you for your nice comments on what I believe is one of the greatest songs of all time -- one written from the heart and pen of a 14 year old girl! I loved seeing/hearing all four renditions back to back. The live, slower version is my favorite. For me, it captures Angelina's full emotion visually and vocally, and conveys that emotion right to my own heart. I just want to walk right up on the stage, give her a "grandpa hug," wipe her tears with my handkerchief, and assure her that all is well.
I do like her slower version. Alot more emotional. She can out do her own orginal. Only Angelina can do this. Her supernova DNA just kicked up a notch.❤❤❤
When Angelina was a little girl, her japanese grandfather took her with him into Oslo, where he helped the homeless community with food and sometimes a job. He was greatly respected. The streets of Oslo saw her growing up. Once her grandad knew, he had a deadly disease, he told Angelina: Stay true to yourself and you will never regret it. Shortly before he died, he spoke to Angelina: I will watch you from the moon, be everywhere, see everything you do. Angelina Jordan upholds his legacy. She was seen multible times, helping the homeless people in LA. She tries to be sneaky, but sometimes she is seen. Part of her proceeds goes to charities for children and ecological causes. Be safe and sound, you TWO Elmar from Germany.
This song is about her Maternal Grandfather. Before he passed he told her he'd be watching her always..... from the moon. Her Grandma, Mery, did the artwork in the video.. Her other Grandpa passed when she was 12. She remembered him on the day of his funeral by singing "Always on My Mind". It was very sad and moving. I listened to her sing that song for the first time the day after my wife passed... We shared some tears... Her Father is still alive. But, he stays out of the limelight. I've only seen him twice in the background of a couple of her videos... She's also sung tributes to her close friend AVICII and Lisa Marie Presley. She's always loved Elvis. And, got to meet Priscilla last summer... Thanks so much for reviewing this special song. So many if her fans aren't fans... thier Family.

Simply lovely. The music and Grandma Mery's artwork were beautiful. She was 12 when her grandfather passed, and 14 when she released this first video under Republic Records. Her little sister, 8 year old Juliette Astar, played the part of a young Angelina with their grandfather (played by Michael Astar, their uncle).
Hi you 2 👋. Thank you for reacting to all these. The 1st one Angie was 14. She said that the tears just flowed when she sang it. The 2nd one Angie was 15. She wrote and drew the story boards for how and what she wanted for the video. The 3rd one she was 14. The piano player is Rob Chrstie Grammy winner. The last one she was 16 and you can really hear and feel her pain in it and the slower to the faster tempo was to express that now after he died. Her 2nd grandpa died during the filming of the semi finals and finals of AGT-C in November of 2019. Her 1st grandpa died in March of 2018 when she was 12. God bless you 2 and again thank you. 🙂👍❤🙏
Thank you for this nice total of many versions of her wonderful original song. I love both versions, the first version, with the beautiful and poetic drawings of her granny Mery and the second with the reconstruction of her youth with her uncle and little sister. Angelina ... this unique girl and her amazing family around her, they are truly a wonderful reality. This is a very sweet, deep and very intense song, dedicated with infinite love to the missing grandfather and to all the people who have lost someone, but it's also a song full of hope, with beautiful lyrics. Angelina is never what you expect, she is always beyond, she is outside the standard, however high those can be.💛🧡❤

Great reaction and she never sings the same song the same! There is always something different, may be just one little thing but the change will be there. She is a perfectionist, God Bless!
I read that her grandfather knew he was dying and to comfort AJ he said he'll be watching her from the moon. She sang You Were Always on My Mind accompanied by Ivan Mendez on guitar just a few days after her grandfather passed a few year ago While singing she stares back at her phone at her grandfather's picture; she tears up at the very end!
@@103mrg Thanks! I could never figure out who the image on the phone was; from a distance he looked Japanese with what appeared to be black hair, plus I couldn't imagine AJ losing both grandfathers within a year.

She did slow the song down a fair bit for her live performances last summer - to great effect I think... after listening to the slower version a few times I found I greatly prefer it (even though I loved the earlier quicker vresions)... it just increases the emotional impact even more
Hillside moon scene.... notice lighting illuminates her back, not front by moonlight.... this makes it subconsciously look surreal dreams cape impression.
This song has been said to help many to open up about the pain and grief after the loss of a close family member. It takes time to understand the full measure of Angelina and her music and the greatness within her heart. To know one person like Angelina exists gives me hope. The beautiful rose from Oslo Norway is a revolution reaching hearts with pure agape love and grace 😊❤❤❤
For the official music video, Angelina indicated that she drew the storyboards (you see her with her sketchbook in the video) - she was 14 years old at the time.
I was there when she sang this live, standing only 6 meters away from here. Her slowing it down and extension on the second belt was amazing twist on her own song. It was special to hear her, so much better than through videos. Best concert ever...
This was for her maternal grandfather. In the live performance her mom and uncle were standing in front, so you can imagine the emotions they must all feel in this prrformance.
Her Original song, “Million Miles” contains an expression some do not understand: ". . . pulling my heart, like an empty Bubble to be thrown.” At times, people find themself in their own little ‘world’ or, aka, in their own little ‘Bubble.’ Emptiness. Great sorrow. Such poetic prose from Angelina was recorded at 14. She wrote this tribute to her Paternal Grandfather (Swedish), who passed away March 4, 2018, she was 12. Thank you guys, you do the right thing to go through this wonderful song in all 4 versions. I love that. The first release was the lyric video with the great artistic work of grandma Mery Zamani, Angelina`s probably biggest fan, beside being her grate mentor and inspirator, as Angelina mentioned in the "Born To Sing" video you watched earlier. Shortly after the "Live in Studio" video was released, and a while later the official video, ft. uncle (and manager) Mike and Angelia`s younger sister Juliette. As one of the very lucky souls to be present at Angelina`s conserts last summer, I must say her live version blew me into a total emotionell experience. Her crying out her pain and sorrow from her loss, was never to missunderstand. And still her massage of still beeing close to all of our dear ones. through our tears and our dear memories, stands out with such strength in this song. So so meny has taken great blessing from this song.
BTW; - as Angelina did cooperat with others in the making of this song, I am quite confident that at least the lyrics is all in all an Angelina creation. 🤗
