There seems to be a fascination with sopranos without the proper voice type singing this aria on TH-cam, but that is not the case with Carol Vaness. She is a perfect Fiordiligi singing this aria perfectly.
Indeed, a lot of singer idiots think fach is a past, 20th C idea. Absurd. It is laughable how light sopranos try to fit into this. Undercasting is revolting in the business and rampant.

I struggled as a student with this--unbelievably hard. she just falls off a log with it! What a voice!!! If you really know Mozart you can hear what he's going to do compositionally with it, and I didn't know that then....

I love the way her phrasing is balanced - the highest note isn't out of alignment with a lower note marked forte.
