Of all the bikes I've had the gran canyon is still my favorite. That's why it's still in my garage while other bikes have come and gone. It's a shame there really isn't any aftermarket (or even OEM) support for it.
@@realpremier engine isn’t the problem. Things like chain rub strip, turn signals. Brake repair parts. Brake parts are aftermarket parts like Nissin, but without support it’s difficult to locate.
I believe this to be my bike, purchased from D&K in 2001. I still have it in 2019!
Excelent bike. Mine has 124.000 kilometers and runs like new.
A fantastic Bike! Still today!
Got the navigator 1000, absolutely love it! Gonna be sad when it finally becomes unfixable (at least fornmy budget) really great bike!

900cc 68hp ?
it is the 900ie with 750 valves. Small valves brings torque at lower revs which is more important on this type of bikes than power at high revs.
check out the late 90s BMW GS... 1100 cc / 80 hp
@@kloppskalli the 2 valve models are even more torque oriented, some have 1000cc and 60hp.
@@kloppskalli and the 1999 GS1150 was 60lbs heavier wet.
Grand Canyon is in Arizona not Nevada
Cagiva 900 cc
Varadero far nicer looking
