Woah hey cool timing! I just beat the game this weekend. I got clapped on the boss too haha! I had to grind about 10 levels up (focused XP on MC only) and then do some more negotiations so I could fuse the MC's ultimate persona. With that + a leveled up party, I was able to survive the second phase. It's that darn Butterfly Swarm attack or whatever... when it happens back to back it's like an instakill for the whole party. Best of luck beating the game!
@@ChickenSoupLotion i beat it since then, my party basically spammed Megidolaon or their strongest physical moves with Maki healing and Noaya supplying water wall. Pandora totally threw too, she stayed red almost the whole fight doing her weakest attacks and she fully healed my entire party with mabufudyne twice.
@@lashybean first off, good job. Also, funny you mention that! After grinding and fusing the MC's ultimate persona, when I went back to fight Pandora the same thing happened and she basically never used that butterfly storm attack. Oh well. I'm playing through the Snow Queen quest now and it's REALLY good. Better than the main game in my opinion, so check it out if you haven't. It's a bit more punishing and you have to grind a but more, but it's got some really cool and disturbing areas, and you get to have at least 1 member in your party that you wouldn't have had in the main story (and she's a badass).
y'know if they added in the song from the ps1 version for the 1st form and then it switched to this for the 2nd form then it would've been so frikn good
@@Comrade_Hee-Ho Agreed. The final boss theme made you feel like you were fighting some eldritch abomination. A merciless spirit that tears at everything it catches its eye upon not this generic anime JRPG song 🤦♂️
Back in my day we used REAL guns
Imagine if P-1’s firearms had recoil so you could only fire one bullet at a time
Naoto: And I respect you for it.
I thought I was mad crusin’ through this boss despite being 15 levels under leveled, then the second phase clapped me instantly, back to the grind 💀

@@ChickenSoupLotion Yukino does appear in the beginning of the SEBEC route, but she doesn't stick around
@@ju2tunknown yes you're correct; I meant that you couldn't have her in your party in the SEBEC route :)

I AGREEEEE
IKR!?
Hearing this song after the butterfly comes out... would've been so fucking incredible
Exactly this
This fits exceedingly well for the butterfly form and the PSX version for the hideous monster.
this
Now we're talking
This version is maki's theme song, not pandora's
Just imagine this was played instead of Willpower in Persona 5
Serious Persona Q vibes from this one
I have never sweated this much in my entire life for a boss fight but holy the feel i got when i beated her was imaginable
Shoulda gotten hierogylphein. It was fun, but easy for me.
0:40 Blooming Villain from P5 references this
Considering how every shadow self in that game was the same type as Pandora, this checks out.
Yes
So does the boss version of I'll Face Myself from p4!!!
Ugh, Them Drum kicks
Damn, man...
Final boss in the first persona, and now an actual persona of Sophia in p5 strikers
This sounds exactly like a persona 4 song but that's not a bad thing
It is

@@Comrade_Hee-Ho No, it is't

You know what, this kinda sounds like a Digital Devil Saga song.
Sounds like a raidou song dammit
sounds like a mid boss not the fucking final boss
someone didn't pick up on the leitmotifs
@@thegreyhound what do the leitmotifs have to do with this comment lol? I'm talking about the way the song is formatted
No it sounds like a final boss theme. Final Boss themes don’t have to be crazy for it to be good.
The original Final Boss theme of the PSX version was so much better, very sad they completely replaced it

kandori's motif died for this
Song's amazing though?
@@moonceIl you can like it all you want, but I hate it :)
@@moonceIl Most underwhelming final boss theme in the franchise
@@OldEnemy1 In your opinion lmfao, it's my favourite and I think it's the best? Music is entirely subjective. The way you said that is as if it's fact
Yeah I really like generic J rock that I’ve heard in 20 different games
