The videos are made by an untrained mechanic! All the videos are therefore to be regarded as my own experiences, and no conclusion. The videos show what I have done, and the result does not always have to be as desired. Sometimes things go directly wrong, and then I try to find out what went wrong, and try to set a better example so that others will not have to make the same mistake as me.
The videos were filmed by myself, and it may have been unknowingly missing to include ALL the details. I try my best to find out what I do and what I find out. But getting cameras in the right places is not always easy!
Very important!!! Do not take any chances with safety, neither your own nor anyone else's! Never work under a car, without and double security. Things can happen, so you must always have extra safety in case something should break or overturn, etc.
Working on cars poses a danger no matter what. So be aware, and if you do not feel 100% sure of the result, rather ask others to help you or double check what you have done, before you expose yourself and others to danger!

I seen this tool about 4 years ago and almost bought it but, i decided it was probably more hype than action.... to make a short story longer, I bought a scooter that was really busted up and zip ties would make it look like it had went thru some major surgery. I decided to buy this tool and now I have spent the last few days kicking myself in the ass for not buying back when i first thought about it!! This thing is awesome and if you buy the staples that are pre-nicked even better to just knock the stems off with your fingers!!! If you have thought about it, quit thinking and start buying!! lol

Yes, there are a lot of tools, you think about... Then it's just a matter of thinking. I probably thought about it for about 1 year too ;) But it was so cheap that I just had to try :) I actually see many good reasons to have one like this in the tool box :)
      Regards

Where to buy the precut staples?

      @@gurgelplus Good day!
The ease of ordering from many different suppliers online.
A search on Ailexpress, and eba, gives many options. Then it would be nice if you could find a supplier with the fastest possible delivery and a good price :)
I searched like this: "Plastic Welder Hot Stapler Welding Machine Gun Garage Tool Kit Car Bumper Repair"
Then I picked up both the guns themselves and many suppliers for Hot Stapler.

@@bildillamagasin I have the same weldinggun with the same staples but I am looking for precut ones which can be broken off. But I haven’t found them yet.
In my imagination it will reduce the amount of grinding afterwards because cutting them flush is almost impossible

      @@gurgelplus Hello again
Yes, it would certainly be even easier.
Strange with some of the ones I've used, they break off easily. While others from the same package must be cut off

Yes, exactly the same thing I thought too.
This is so cheap, it has been worth a try!
So it is with this as with normal metal welding. Practice makes perfect! :)

Put the staples in lengthwise along the crack instead of bisecting it, so you get more metal across the crack.

Hello friend, why the LED light does not turn on when you press the trigger

    • @bildillamagasin
      @bildillamagasin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good day!
I have not thought that the LED does not light, Probably because I have only used it outside in daylight. But would probably be a problem when trying to repair a fan on a car, and it's dark. Maybe there's a fault with mine.
      Regards

You're doing this wrong way. Read instruction again. Staples should be put along cracks, not across. This way you have strong bond of many wire loops .

He will probably have to search on ebay, aliexpress, google.
Norway and Nepal are in completely different continents, so I unfortunately do not know anything about what is available from local image equipment dealers in Nepal.

      Good day!
I had to try my hand at it.
The wire heats up when you hold down the button.
I found that the catcher I tested it on reacted differently in different places.
I would try very carefully at first, then rather repeat the process, heating the threads again.
But if you have a plastic part, which needs to be fixed and varnished anyway, then you don't have to be so afraid that it will become visible.
The most important thing about these metal threads is to reinforce the plastic in the event of a fracture.
      Regards
      Pål ( Paul )
