Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! But for the first model, you chose a rather complicated option! Pavel makes very detailed kits without simplifying any elements. Therefore, it is better to measure 7 times than to glue each part at once...

Nice kit! If it doesn"t require any special tools, then I think this is the right kit for me. I haven't build a ship model in my life, but It's an old dream of mine.
Yes, I build this KIT only with the hand tool that I showed at the beginning of the video. Since I can't take my workshop with me on vacation))). But this KIT is difficult for a beginner. It is desirable for you to already have experience working with wood, glue, etc., and to know at least elementary constructions of building real boats.

I received the kit just today (n° 15 if anyone is interested) and could not resist doing my own private unboxing right away 😛 I must say it's one of the most well organized, beautifully made kits I've ever seen. Quality materials, more than excelent instructions, no mere pieces of cord but actually winded ropes, quality photoedge and the list goes on ... I know what I'll be doing tonight 🙂

Наступною буде обшивка - помічник вже дістає з пластини дошки і шліфує наждачкою нагар від лазера))) А точніше ввесь час намагається вкрасти наждачку...
В подальшому буде етап встановлення дошок обшивки, Дуже кропіткий і цікавий етап. А те що Ольга проведе його на вищому рівні майстерності я навіть на секунду не сумніваюсь !))

I just discovered your channel today. OMG what beautiful work. I've never met another female ship builder before. Was beginning to think I was all alone in the boys club. My current medium is plastic, brass, and steel modern ships but I have always wanted to try my hand at a wooden sailing kit. I can't wait to see more. I of course need to go catch up on all your past work though.

This kit is definitely not for beginners. To build it you need to have minimal experience with wood and glue, etc... Also know the construction of real boats, as you will have to simulate some details, such as rabbet, etc...

Hey Olha, glad to see you are well and building more boats for us to admire. These shallops are very sea-kindly, with their rounded chines and lap-strake planking. I replaced two bilge-chine planks on one way back in the early 1970's - was quite a chore, and we had to resort to steam-bending the planks.
Amazed at your friend Pavel's kit - VERY exacting, and I think the jig for building is almost more difficult than the actual boatbuilding. Also amazed that, in the midst of a violent war, he manages to keep his business going. Maintaining that LASER cutter is not easy, even in peace time, and sourcing the materials must be doubly difficult. Considering ordering one of his kits just to help him along some.

Como siempre un trabajo espectacular, hace unos días pedí este kit. ah recordar a los que son de la unión europea que tendréis que pagar el IVA y demás en aduana así que tenerlo en cuenta, pues a mi se pe saso por completo y nada mas avisarme que lo avían enviado me llego otro email de correos recordándome que hay tramitarlo en aduana. un saludo y mucho animo con Ucrania espero pronto llegue la paz.
Depende de cada país, que normas y procedimientos en la aduana... si el valor del kit no supera el valor máximo establecido, entonces no hay impuestos adicionales...

In 2010 the NRG’s annual Conference was in Annapolis, Maryland. In walking about the harbor I came across a full scale rendition of the Shallop. The State of Maryland had commissioned the boat to be built for a teaching aid of the Colonial period.
I have ten photos of the boat that you may find of interest. If you think that Pavel would like them, then by all means send them.

These jigs are made of MDF, so no waste of wood...
I know that Kit. For the first time, the Chinese really made a project, and did not steal someone else's development. But due to their previous fame they are banned from many shipmodeling forums due to their pirated copies of previous kits. So be careful if you want to post pictures of your model anywhere.
Hello Olha, one question.Do you applied Tung Oil on the deck before all fittings are glued or after? I have troubles with the glued parts if oil is applied on wood before .... unions are very weak.
It is for this reason that I use oil already at the end, when everything is glued... If you want to tint during the construction process, then use alcohol-based stains, with them you can continue to glue without problems...
P.S. If it is already too late, then before gluing the parts, sand the place of gluing with big grains sandpaper, or even better, if possible, put pins (made of wire or toothpicks)...

Olha, why did you assemble the jig without glue first?
Very often, the kit can get into a wet or dry environment, in stores or during delivery. The material may deform and you will have to sand everything first. You can do it perfectly with a file or sandpaper and without glue! So that when put together a jig, your parts do not bend! And only when all the parts are well fayed, then everything can be easily glued together...

There is no consistency at all when gluing. The main thing is to mount them on the hull in sequence!

Soot is the result of cutting parts with a laser, and you won't find it on real boats, because the parts for them were carved with axes and other hand tools...

Рад что Вас по прежнему занимает постройка этого набора. Кажется Вы интересовались как будет сохранена жесткость местоположения шпангоутов относительно киля. Надеюсь сегодня Ольга ответила на Ваш вопрос, а так же воочию показала, и Вам в том числе, для чего нужен первый стапель и соответственно второй. Ну и конечно то что у них принципиально разные задачи. В дальнейшем, уверен Ольга, так же эффектно покажет и назначение третьего стапеля, который также есть в наборе.
@@PavelNikitinShips да, интересно. Меня интересуют чужие технологии :). Я собирал подобную модель на сплошной болванке. Но можно сделать на сплошном фанерном наборе. Здесь только два заполнителя шпангоутов, а можно сделать на все, и тогда можно на них собирать, без первого стапеля. только киль ставить в после шпангоутов. Ещё хочу посмотреть на малковку таких необычных шпангоутов.
@@zchz2224 Можете собирать без стапеля, так в чем проблема то ? Собирайте. Вы описываете технологию от "Мастер -Корабел" , так она и достаточно древняя и на мой взгляд малоэффективная. Было бы у меня другое мнение, я не разрабатывал бы свою технологию. Фанеру применять на шпангоутах при открытых бортах до кильсона ? Ну это уже перебор. Необычные шпангоуты ? Ну в 17 веке они именно такими и были, что же в них для Вас необычного ?) Или Вы с Уильямом Бейкером поспорить хотите? Смело )
