I like Samsung for its software and features and battery life compared to most other phones like iPhones and Xiaomis. But OP5 battery life is beast and I love it!
Mr Skill- it's a fair test because it's based solely on battery usage and the same test were used for all devices but I understand what you mean as there are other variables. Those thinking that the 5T battery is better are mistaken and don't understand the screen has way less Pixels and what's causing the battery to last longer has nothing to do with a better battery or optimization but rather the lack of a higher quality resolution display. The Pixel and S8 definitely do much better in relation to this making them the better phones overall... Another variable is screen brightness because even at full brightness each phone is limited to a certain level of brightness based on the panel & software coding.... #TeamPixel is Great!!!

Half price of iPhone X but yet is equal to it's performance and has some features which iPhone X doesn't. (Fingerprint Scanner and HEADPHONE JACK). The only thing OnePlus 5T doesn't have that iPhone X has is Water Resistance. iPhone X doesn't have the best Water Resistance anyways.

Standby time is where I put my money. I hate to loose battery while I am not using it. Android have sucked over the years for me when it comes to standby time. Would be interesting to see how these devices compare when it comes to standby time.
All phones should be running on their maximum resolution advertised. If the test should involve altered options, then it doesn't make sense, because they could just switch the screen resolution on all the other ones to a lower one also.
Another interesting test and thank you!! These tests are import for us consumers because we can test them for ourselves. Id like to see a leader board.

John Rupesh You have a problem if you are using the phone in sessions of 6 hours at a time. If you go to sleep with an idle fully charged iPhone, you usually wake up with 97% battery (at least before ios11 release screwed it up a bit)
I've never ever heard anyone say that the iPhone was the "battery king", which also doesn't make sense why they would call it that because the iPhone's battery is the lowest of all the phones showed in the video. @John Rupesh never said that people were using their phones for six hours at a time, he was just pointing out that stand by time doesn't mean anything other than marketing. I really don't get why you pointed out that a phone has less battery after going to sleep.

Considering the higher resolution of the Pixel 2 XL, I would consider it having the most efficient performance. LG V30, Pixel 2 XL, OnePlus 5T and even the Note 8 has better camera than iPhone X. The only competitor for iPhone X in terms of camera is Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sadly does way worse than these beasts in camera.
Yeah the Samsung s8 plus was pushing way more pixels with a way bigger screen, but he just left it on the default settings that comes out of the box. Decrease the pixels to HD and you'll get another hour or two of battery life
YAHYA38 why would you want their resolution decreased?? When u have already given them credit for better screen, higher resolution. If they get credit for better screen/ higher resolution then they are going to be judged based on the screen resolution. When u use and enjoy them because of their so called " better display" why clamour for reduction of resolution because of battery the test . The reason why OnePlus have kept their resolution at 1080 is because of battery life and that's what her users prioritize. You can't take both sides to your advantage. Had this test been ; better screen resolution test , will you ask to reduce the screen resolution of Galaxy and Pixel XL, to make the test fair ?

Horton xeetechare made a video in which he compared the s8 with FHD resolution and the s8 with QHD resolution and the s8 with FHD won only for 1%
