    Description: Health anxiety symptoms can affect every aspect of a persons life. A health anxiety sufferer finds themselves looking to hide their anxiety symptoms from others, which causes further inner turmoil over time.
    The term ‘you must face your symptoms of anxiety’ was never really practical to me. I didn’t know how to implement this nor did I really understand the message. Clarity is key, without knowing what you truly need to do you’ll never put your heart into the new action.
    If health anxiety symptoms are currently affecting your life negatively, it’s time for deeper insights. Insights into what these anxiety symptoms mean, why they continue to show up, and how to eliminate them.
    Get ready to reveal the truth behind your bodily symptoms of anxiety which prolong your Hypochondria. Also, prepare to learn more about the 5 separate aspects to facing your greatest fears towards becoming more than anxiety.

    I Google my symptoms to try and figure out why they are occurring, and then try to reassure myself that I'm going to be okay. It doesn't help though, because I often find myself googling the same symptom looking for the same reassurance.

    • @jstep100
      @jstep100 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’ve found that googling symptoms only makes my anxiety worse. Google always seems to give me the worst possibility of what my symptoms could be from which scares the hell out of me. Lately I’ve just been trying to ignore my symptoms but that’s very difficult to do. I still constantly dwell on what it could be. I haven’t found the best way to deal with it but I’m going to figure this out and get past this. It’s very exhausting to constantly dwell on the possibility of having some kind of miserable health issue. Good luck fellow health anxiety sufferer. We’ll get past this shit.

    When watching these videos, I get overwhelming emotions by both hope and dread.
    Hope and happiness that I don't have to feel this way for the rest of my life. But then the dread kicks in, making me feel like, what if I get stuck and can't get further to better myself.
    I already feel stuck and I wonder if it's an extra challenge I have to deal with because of my learning difficulties.
    I just really hope I can do this, because I can't stand feeling this way all the time.

      Kelly, How are you now? In life there are only 2 problems --mind and the body. . To feel better reduce negative thoughts [overthinking]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, before sleep, in school, at work, when reading, etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media, take morning sunlight walks and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

    I am about to have a physical exam with my doctor. I have a lump in my armpit - not just a sensation but a NEW and PHYSICAL thing present. I feel normal otherwise (but I have always been a super super health worrier). I have been trying to exercise more. I did my best not to ask Dr. Google but I already know what it "could" be and it's quite scary. I know I have to get it checked out but it is debilitating constantly worrying about it and touching it as if it will magically disappear if I rub it again. Anyway just trying my best to not be consumed by it. Reassuring to see people discussing health anxiety freely with no judgements and offering ideas on how to overcome these fears. Thanks Dennis.

    normally my old habits is so quick to react and act my usual old reactions. It is so strong tocontrol before I would be able to apply this tool to change my old habbits which is catastrophising. It needs a lot of disipline, prayers and selfdetermination through trial and error efforts.

    Very informative video.

    My health anxiety was bad. I know what triggers it. So I started scratching all over my body. It was so bad I was getting irritated and overwhelmed. My throat will feel funny. I was constantly looking at my skin. My fingers were hurting. So I'd visit people to distract myself. It helped. I didn't scratch or felt the other symptoms. I'd listen to youtube videos do whatever to distract. And I forgot the symptoms. And when I would remember. Haven't had anxiety for a long while. Today I do 😫 This video is spot on and helpful.

Hopefully once I ween off I will drink 4 times a year if that. This year I quit smoking due to health anxiety. Now it’ll be alcohol. Thank you .
