This didn’t age well… although the fire was minimal (just in engine room) and the ship is still sailing luckily enough. The crew was well prepared and trained
10:15 I was on the largest sailing to date last week and most of this about the wait time is not true. We had no problem swimming up to the bar, virtually no line at starbucks, and it was a breeze getting on and off. The waterslides were about a half an hour wait though, not hours as stated in this video.
My wife and I were on board during power loss lasted. I don’t know 10 minutes The ship did not slow down. It was really no big deal as far as lines go my wife and I did not experience this either. I kind of see this is to the best ship we have been on!
I was on the Icon of the Sea in May when the ship lost power. We lost power while my family and I were at the art auction. No big deal, we just continued to drink free champagne and talked and made jokes until the power came back on.
Ahh, it was all very funny and all laughs, as long as the free chilled champagne could be poured in your glass. What if bathrooms stops working, or the power didn't come back for hours, or at all? I bet you'd be still laughing, right? Don't worry your Royal stock is still OK, for now.
no way! i was on the same sailing, was at the category 6 water park nearing the top of the slide tower when the power went out. saw the engines stop spinning and the ships wake slowly start to disappear. felt pretty surreal especially since its a new ship.
Won’t subscribe due to the click bate of showing the ship on fire. As a Platinum member on Royal Caribbean, the video was very interesting and informative and didn’t need click bate to get me to subscribe. See ya
"Incredible video! The way you detailed the journey from early cruise ships to the Icon of the Seas is captivating. Loved the insights into life on board such a massive ship! 👏🎥"
A beatup, fuelled by a lot of conjecture and hype. No fire on the bow ever existed. Selectively picking a few negative reviews doesn't accurately reflect overcrowding of facilities by guests on board.
I have been on the Icon of the seas during spring break 2024 and the ship is awesome and even at full capacity it never felt crowded. The video is extremely misleading!
Such dramatic narration. It seemed 75% of the photos were of other ships. The bridge is state-of-the-art, yet the one shown looked 25 years old. I believe there was an incident. I further believe that 'Beyond Facts' dramatized it beyond belief.
Not sure who these people are saying these things about the onboard experience. I sailed this ship in May 2024 and the ship had 6900 guests on board. We didn't experience any of the crowding or long waits described in this video.
The whole problem with this ship is that it was built during the pandemic! That is what's wrong with it. Anything built, cars, trucks, houses, housewares, air conditioners/heaters, cruise ships ect ect is going to breakdown or quit not matter what. You can have the factory replace this and that in it but it will still not work right, not matter what it is.
I've long ago determined that there is no advantage to me as a passenger to have 4 or 5 thousand other people on board for all the reasons shown in this video. I much prefer smaller ships with a lower energy vibe. Much more relaxing and enjoyable. I wouldn't think of booking on this monstrosity.
What a rollercoaster of feelings, amazing ship, disgusting prices, massatoerism, danger escape plan, only happy families, and the main question ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ how do they now if someone of the almost 10.000 souls fall overboard or get murdered?!??!
Classic click-bate! What a disgraceful report! With the exception of the ship specifications and widely-reported power outage there was nothing factual about this video.
Mega ships espouse to be Disney world, but without the Disney world, only gimmicks. A city of of intoxicated, people you are vacationing with, does that sound like a nice relaxing, calm vacation? Seriously?
Any machine manufactured by human beings is prone to error but any thing created by God is perfect. So in order the man made one to be perfect it must be associated to God. By saying so I mean in. every port or harbour a prayer building must be built where all willing guests and crew members can pray for safe voyages before departure and thanks giving for safe arrival. The contributions can be decided into three parts one goes to the ship owners, the rest is decided in between the respective country and building maintenance.
You lost me at "Co2 Carbon Dioxide is harmful". CO2 is not harmful - at all; Carbon Dioxide is a building block of life on our planet. Methane and polutants, however, are very harmful. So, if you are reporting LNG is worse for methane than Diesel, then LNG is a disaster really.
Methane is a another hydrocarbon - ie fuel. It can be used for everything from heating the pool water to cooking the meals. This video is just more AI crap.
Your misleading with your thumbnail. We know you want baiters obviously but that's now how you do things. This is so wrong of you. Get better at it!!!!
You show the ship on fire............that's just dishonest. !!
Completely agree with that.
Thumbnail?

What is up in using the fake fire on the bow of the ship in your thumbnail? Thumbs down for your BS. Shalom

If you were on an elevator with your family? And someone needed to use the restrooom?
Still no big deal?
But the ship was not on fire correct like he shows it here??

May 20, 2024 fell on a Monday. Not Sunday.

Channel title is BEYOND facts , very apt indeed 😂😂

CLICK bate and noting more,
BAIT. BAIT BAIT!!!!
It did recently lose power....for 6 whole minutes.
according to this a-hole the lose of power was equal to the the triumph back in the day.
But It didn't catch fire right.??
No
Those ship interior balcony cabins are just silly. All you can see, is another balcony, 200 feet away, across from you.
What do you get out of showing crap like this
they need to stop making it taller and make it wider so the neighborhoods are bigger

And none of the current crop of million-dollar, college-degreed geniuses figured all this out until now? We're doomed.
Dishonest clip. Nothing of value in this video. Just BS to damage the image of the cruise industry.
I would never go on a cruise x just the thought of it scares me
Hot dam lines to wait for food Ah! Just like life on an aircraft carrier. Richard Faine and Michael Bailey WTF is up with that fellas?
Yep you went way "Beyond the Facts".......................
Shifted 2 NJ 4 ever
The next Titanic to go to the sea 🌊 foor, 😮
That many people on board lifeboats won't be your only issue if you can't organize everyone on board to get to a lifeboats if needed.
SO WHAT IS THE GIANT PROBLEM???
