- These are 7 new tools from Milwaukee. Milwaukee is starting to have some great options for electricians tools. The Milwaukee 7-1 pliers have some huge upside and are one of the most recommended wire stripper to date. They also have some great new multidrivers options. The made in the USA screwdrivers are AMAZING and I can't way to test them further.

Cabinet drivers are pretty handy for control cabinets. The blade is the correct width for the terminals and the extra length makes it easy to reach into a deeper cabinet with a bunch of Panduit or motor starters in it. I generally just use mine for wall plates though.

That insulated driver set looks great, I’m excited to try those out. Thank you for the video!
As of today I'd only buy one brand of multi bit insulated screwdriver. That's the wiha. The reason is because they sell electric handle, torque handle, 10 different type of manual handle and they also have about a 100 different bits. They call it slimvario.
Great overview!
The hole in the shank of the 13-in-1 is for bending hooks.
The thing I don't like on the insulated driver kit is the elastic band covers the label of each bit.
I love the 14 in 1 though - as much as my Klein.
Love the Made in USA Screwdrivers and pliers; well worth it! As you said, there could have been a better selection though 😜
I thought wera screwdrivers were goofy for years then I got one, now I understand why people love them
The Klein 27-in-1 multibit screwdriver has much more options for all of the electronics guys. Hopefully Milwaukee can make one too!
The cabinet screw driver is the best for removing cover plates.

" raw and UNCUT" ...
The second after saying this, JumpCUTS... LOLL
Finally an insulated combo bit set from a major brand. Thank you.
I have the 6 in 1 pliers. No crimper but they have a needle nose tip.
I'm excited to see the multi-driver comparison. I personally love my Megapro automotive screwdriver, but I would be interested to see if there is anything better out there for the price.
I find the 6in1 and 7in1 strippers are great for solid but something isn’t right with the pairs I have when it comes to stripping stranded wire. Forged or Greenlee strippers are my go to for stranded. I got frustrated with the bit retention on the 13-in-1 multi driver. The bits kept pulling out on me into terminal screws so I retired it after a day and a half. Definitely eying that bending level, though.
The hole in the shaft of the screw driver is for putting a hook on wire, for like wiring outlets.
i bought the 7-1 strippers a year or 2 ago, and they did not strip well at all. I have the knipex forged ones, love those. Are the strippers upgraded since old versions? I would give them a try again based on price.
Milwaukee 6 in 1 wire stripper Model # 48-22-3079 is trash I used them for little stuff little bit and after that they become trash, when you trying to close them they bite in. My friend has the exact same one and the exact same problem.
In your opinion whats the better choice leather Telecom pouch or veto mp2x?
Been using the wire strippers for 2 werks. Super happy with them, the scredriver sets made me mad too.
Glad they’re working out. I know it doesn’t make any sense
I've used a cabinet driver for carb work on my motorcycle a lot
I do cabinets for a living, and I bought a Wera PZ2 drive. It’s necessary to adjust Blume cabinet hinges. A regular P2 will not work good at all. It’s like a Phillips and torx had a love child.
Random question, what watch do you have there?
cabinet drivers are an absolute must, and im not even an electrician!!
The hole on the multi driver is a wire bender. Love the rest but avoid their multi driver with the detent. Bought three because I keep losing the detent ball on all three. Now they're coming out with a magnetic tip version without the detent ball. Engineer who designed the detent ball should buy everyone a new driver.
Try Klein tools wire strippers 11046 , 11045 and their shears out 11044 , 63055 and some vary nice set of needle nose pliers D203
I’ll put them on the list!
How do u keep your tools looking super clean swear after a get a new tool all dirty and break in after one week
Hole in the shaft is a loop wire hole.
I'm a Electrician and i use those wire strippers,i like them. All my tool milwaukee. They need to make a screw holder flathead they one i have is klein. They also need to make a better battery heatgun
Who has the better battery heat gun??? I almost bought the Milwaukee this morning….#all my tools are Milwaukee brand also
Looking forward to the screwdriver review. It’s hard for me to buy Milwaukee hand tools over Knipex, Klein, Wera, and Wiha.
As a residential electrician cabinet drivers are great for tandem breakers thats about it tho. They come in handy for random little things every once in a while tho
I keep a smaller insulated driver for those tandem breakers
@@americanelectrician fair enough. I think its just a company thing for me not many people in my company use insulated tools in fact i only know one person that has them out of the 150-200 employees. Not that i know all of them
Perhaps I'm a few years out of date, but I haven't encountered specifically needing security Torx bits with the hole in them for armory/gunsmithing work on guns. That's a thing now?!
No no the security torx isn’t needed for gunsmithing. The smaller Torx are common tho
The hole in the screwdriver is for making your J hook on solid wires for outlets.
Thank you🙌🏼
I have the 13-1 screw driver from Milwaukee. I’ve used it for about 2 months and the bits will start to slip out
I’d love to see them also include a red and a couple flat different size flats and a Phillips number 1 and 2 number three Robertson and Robertson 2in the and Robertson 1 a Robertson an
Everybody hates flat head screws because the screwdriver slips off..
But did you know that, just like robertson, philips, hex ... and all other types of screw heads.. there is a sized screwdriver for each one...
Flat head screws are the strongest heads.
The closer to a circle, the head shape is.. the easier it is to strip..
The best head shape would be like the flat, but with the ends of the slot closed. And deep
i dont like the cutter on the strippers, it wont cut all the way through 12gauge speaker wire and leaves excess strands
What’s the one to avoid?
I use the 7n1 everyday it cuts mc
I had gotten a beater flat head and it shattered right away.
good shit brother
appreciate it 🙌🏼
I don't know why I bought the 13-in-1 screw driver but I hate it. I love the stubby racheting screw driver though but it's difficult to get the bits out
I never love multi drivers so I get that. I prefer an actual ratchet like the Klein or wera for a stubby
The wire strippers I got from them were such garbage (couldn't strip worth a ...) that I literally threw them in the trash, returned a set of their screwdrivers too because the tips started crumbling on the first day of use. I will avoid all Milwaukee hand tools and only buy their power tools.
They strip like butter to me
The 6in1 and 7in1 strip like butter to me
I am vary happy with the strippers. maybe you got a bad one
@@azneric2185yeah must be user error . I’ve had the 6 in 1 model for a couple years. Great tool and cuts easy as can be.
Durability doesn’t seem to be as solid as knipex but for 15 bucks on sale , you can’t get any better
Admittedly, I'm not a pro, just a homeowner, but I had a hard time with the strippers. I ended up going back to my Kleins. Maybe I just need more practice.
You bought the wrong usa Milwaukee set! The six piece has what you are looking for. I have it and like it better than the Wiha set Project Farm tested and recommends.
I ground down the head of my pliers to the perfect size to fit in those tight spots.
It's a great promotional/sponsored video
Yup it makes no sense. I only need two flats at best. Demolition flat and maybe a small flat.
Give to you guys RAW 😳
Exactly
I swapped out from Klein/Milwaukee to Wera/knipex. A divorce is cheaper but I’ll never go back.
🔥🔥🔥
Cant do the strippers we had a graveyard box when they first came out they almost all failed in a week to a month once we got the knipex forged never had a issue since some are 2 years plus old. I tried the usa screwdrivers months ago and wasnt impressed in the quality. Many of them has horrible machining marks look at your cabnet tip tell me the blade and the chrome is perfect and not wavy. Everyone on the shelf for the last 3 months at the supply house and hd have the same flaws. The size difference of the klein to the red brand precision screwdriver is too great and ill keep the klein. I would be hard pressed to give up proven german brands for these new ones made in in china or something like it. They make a ecx2 usa screwdriver for conduit screws but not ecx1 that ive seen. I use plenty of red tools but hand tools besides a rare one or 2 make it into my bag. At least the m12 surge is safe for now.
The knipex strippers need 10 stranded, my biggest problem with them
I agree man. It’s probably my least favorite thing
I'd love a crimper too.
I like Klein and Knipex more
Anyone else always take the spring out of your strippers? Can’t stand the spring.
I do hate springs but not yet
Americans just need to learn how to spring with pliers us in aus can strip anything with normal pliers
Same here in Cnd. 🤘🍻
It’s a Robertson screwdriver not square. 😂
Where are you from
@@americanelectrician Ontario Canada
Avoid them all boom done
Pb swiss are still better screwdrivers
Its all for his glory brother! Amen.
All the items linked in the description are either wrong or WAY over priced. Are you trying to rip people off? Do you not even look at them before you link them? Attention to detail...
It’s a link to the Amazon product. The prices change. All of the shoppable links should be directly from Home Depot
Don’t bother trying to warranty any of this crap!
Milwaukee makes power tools, their handtools are overpriced gearbage.
Yea milwaukee powertools and packouts are great but their hand tools are garbage.
What is your take on the STABILA MAGNETIC ANGLE MEASURING BOX FRAME LEVEL 3 VIAL 70TMW/25, as I was looking at getting this one as compared to the Milwaukee?
