Is it just me or was this just absolutely amazing quality from the presentation down to the analysis of the session. Great work. Subscribed. You’re gonna blow up in this poker vlog space in no time. Cheers
Incredibly high quality work for someone just getting started in this space. Keep it up bro, can't wait to watch more. For us rookies out there, I'd love some more insight into all of the jargon!
Nice job editing and the graphics showing the action. nice to see something different in the vlogs. I'm subbed and ready to watch your journey. Good luck
Great vlog. On your KQ hand, I might take a check-call line when the river ace comes. Depending on the bet size and the chance that our opponent is bluffing, I would probably call $100-$200.
Well done. Curious what you put villain on when you had Broadway straight and got raised. Can't imagine trip Aces snap raises on this board, so let's explore options. Does A10 check through flop, then call turn, bink river snap? There's a case for 8H, 9H calling pre, checking flop, turning flush and straight outs, drilling flush on river and snap raising. Good fold though not getting married to Broadway. Keep up the good work. Subscribed!
Tough to say honestly. Ranging opponents who play too wide and passively is not the most exact science for me. If memory serves me correctly this opponent was certainly a passive player who wouldn’t even be raising 2 pair on the flop or turn. I had already seen some surprising show downs when he was involved in other hands that I was not. So for that reason, I just assumed he was never raising the river as a bluff with anything worse than my hand. The price was probably pretty close in theory tho.
Man.... watching you guys get these amazing hands and flop the nuts and near nuts almost every hand, and getting nearly zero resistance from any other players is like dream poker. Easy game, right ?
Not sure I agree with your fold on hand 10, you being the initial raiser flop gives you all the A,A- 10,10 and maybe 5,5 hands and when the board runs out all broadway card hearts it’s unlikely he has hearts especially with you blocking the nut flush holding the K of hearts. Along with the thought of any set they might have is definitely raising turn after checking flop when the flush draw comes in. Just my thoughts.
Personally when the back door flush comes in and the board pairs with another ace, I would have gone into check call mode. And sometimes the information is worth paying for. JMO
I like going for the thin value because I’d say in live poker there are plenty of hands that an IP opponent will call a bet with, but they deem too weak to bet themselves. Obviously opens the door to value owning yourself but I think long term there’s more value in getting called by worse and just bet-folding to the nutted hands that raise.
Don’t like the idea of betting bigger on the KQ hand because your opponent might not raise I think it warrants the same results , good vlog I like your thought process on most hands
Seems like they always have it on a river raise but sometimes you get someone who is overvaluing their hand and raising trip aces in that spot. After he called the turn I put him on a heart draw considering all previous action. In the long run it's probably good to just fold. I think your bet size was bad just as you said and would of been interesting to see what that player did if you bet $125.
or check call..udner repped hand villian could have A x rvr A think the flush not likely or not scared so thinks trips r best... they always bet..so you call then,
After winning the A,2 hand your stack size is $1,700...you show yourself winning the next hand.....2 hands after the A,2 your stack size is $600......where did $1,100 go??
If you have a $1,500 stack and the opponent in the hand has only $500, then your stack is $1,500, but only $500 eff (effective), meaning you can only win $500 from your opponent
@@toddswardenski Lol True but maybe I missed it but you need to definitely say when the games hitting you hard…. Last night I won $800…. Tonight lost $500 on a cooler, but the first night I definitely recognized my all ins were won… Also you don’t want to miss lead that poker that easy…. And unless your rampage then just go all in and let luck suck you out

KJdd on the button hand, I love your thought process and raise on the flop. I still thinking im leaning towards 60-70 3! pre though

It can seem that way sometimes. This session was pretty dreamy
At those stakes, river raises are very seldom bluffs. I believe you made a good fold
that river A of hearts fold with a straight. idk. I think he had an Ace and felt in love with it.
Tough to say. River raises are rarely bluffs. The problem is what does the opponent decide is a bluff or a value raise? You might be right.
Enjoy your vlog!
New subscriber. I love getting 8 , 9 suited.
When did you play the session used in this vlog?
February 6 I believe.
good stuff
Nice work
Excellent blog. Intro volume good...hand description volume low

Pretty fair. I’m probably getting a fine price to call too. Didn’t love it lol

Keep it up man. Don't give up, manage that bank roll, drinking and driving will ruin you.
Todd it will be a good idea to include your losses too. Nice job.
He won $400/hr at 2-5, I'm not sure there were any losses 😂

I only record effective stacks in my notes because that’s the relevant info to me, so my opponent only had 600 if that’s what you’re seeing.

@@PriusMike88 Yes I understand effective stack but it was confusing bc it just says stack....
@@GotloLuna68 it says eff right after the number

I’ll never complain about a session when I didn’t have to top up. Pretty good indicator of some serious run good!
