The most unrealistic thing about this is that as soon as they finished the book they closed it and got up... like WHAT You HAVE to stare at the blank page and cry for an hour cradling yourself whilst having an existential crisis and thinking that your life is over after you read the book... you just HAVE to.
Am I the only one who likes folding the corner of a page to mark the place?????? I like it when my books look read and read again with folded corners and bent spines
If I buy a new book I won't fold the page and I try to keep it looking new. If i buy a used book, which I do more often than not, then I won't hesitate to bend the spine or dog ear pages.
Same! I get so annoyed by those fricken people that keep their books looking perfect like you have to absorb the story properly, and if you're so occupied with keeping the book in brand new condition you can't love it as much.
I use anything I can find as a bookmark... These are all really things I have used: -Sticky notes (I have a whole pile) -Some unfinished origami I found on the floor. -Another book (but smaller) -The folded up price tag -Piece of paper I ripped from somewhere. -Toilet Paper (unused, I’m not that sick) -Candy Wrapper -Piece of the subway wrapper thingy.
That Girl With That Book Complain to your local politician... Or like borrow a bunch of books at once from the closest library and only return them when you are done. Or join the library and use their elibrary service (if they have any)
-Except when people try to see what book you’re reading so they’ll either yank it out of your hands or force it up to see the cover -when people read over your shoulder and then whine when you turn the page before they’re done like GET YA OWN BOOK -when you’re in the middle of the book or you’ve just started or you’re in that stage where there stuff happening but nothings really happening yet and someone asks you what the book is about and you’re like idfk I’m still reading it -WHEN PEOPLE DOG EAR THEIR PAGES -WHEN PEOPLE HAVE AN OPEN BOOK AND PLACES THEM FACE DOWN ON A SURFACE THEREBY BENDING THE SPINE OUT OF WHACK -when you get a book from the library and someone had taken a pen to it -when people carelessly eat with books and ruin them (I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat when you read and saying be careful or a book worm will crawl out of a book and bite your head off you absolute carrot)
Lucyfer Antiheus o agree with most of this just not the one about putting books face down as long at it doesn’t actually mess up the book. I have had to do that plenty of times when I didn’t have a book mark when my mom was like “get over here now blah blah blah” and I need to save my page.
tbh everything about going to the bookstore/library to read is amazing. The comfy chairs to sit in, the cool atmosphere, the peace and quiet, and of course getting lost in the story....
I tend to stare at the front cover mournfully and debate whether or not to dive right back in again. lol I have hugged my books when I meet a character who obviously needs a hug, too.
Banana bread today actually I saw a girl reading a book all my friends and I have read so I just yelled “that’s a really good book!” At her. Yeah I’m not exactly good at talking to people so it was awkward but hey Idc.
I like to dog ear my books personally. Makes the book actually look like it's been read. Plus I love to challenge my self to read further then I did last time when I reread the book. (I also get all my books from an old book stall, where their already pretty much battered. So it doesn't make that much of a difference)
Sarah The Butter Biscuit it does not ruin it unless you dog ear almost half the page and do it really harshly. a hate seeing a book look really flat and fresh I've never had any interest or satisfaction in keeping a book like it was store bought, i feel it takes the mark of ownership out of it. it's your world once you read it and interpret it a certain way right? imo you should be comfortable with it, not wary of it
There is just something so satisfying about holding the actual book in your hands and holding the next page, as if preparing to turn it, though your mind is completely caught up in the sentence that you just read and are processing even as you read the other character's response.
This is the most satisfying video I have seen in a long time. I love how they used a guy (those mystical fanboys ya know.) How have I just now seen this video??

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! That's something that hasn't been said to me a lot and I don't want people to feel the same way I do.
Dj Prince You are also beautiful
Dj Prince You're beautiful too 😊
Idk what u look like but you probably are beautiful. I suggest you watch Roman Atwood's outro
Dj Prince aww ty :D
The one who thought this is an incredible creature of God......and hard to find....
It's nice to meet you dear❤🙃😘
The most unrealistic thing about this is that as soon as they finished the book they closed it and got up... like WHAT
You HAVE to stare at the blank page and cry for an hour cradling yourself whilst having an existential crisis and thinking that your life is over after you read the book... you just HAVE to.
That only happens if there’s not a sequel
Am I the only one who likes folding the corner of a page to mark the place?????? I like it when my books look read and read again with folded corners and bent spines
gemma 3 I'm the opposite of you lol 😂 I like my books looking New and I even read them a certain way so that the book or the pages don't bend 😂
If I buy a new book I won't fold the page and I try to keep it looking new. If i buy a used book, which I do more often than not, then I won't hesitate to bend the spine or dog ear pages.
gemma 3 yes I can definitely relate(: also I always like to write in them
I love the books I've read looking, well, read and used. You can definitely tell which books I've enjoyed by their folded corners and bent spines.
Same! I get so annoyed by those fricken people that keep their books looking perfect like you have to absorb the story properly, and if you're so occupied with keeping the book in brand new condition you can't love it as much.
When a movie comes out with the book I just go like OMGOMGOMGIGMG
Oh yes!
I both am excited and terrified
Krystelle Anne Ternura i get mad because i created the characters and places in my mind now you're ruining what they were to me
Krystelle Anne Ternura that profile picture is adorable!!!
It's the most frustrating thing in the world to me, because I just know the cover will be replaced with a still from the movie adaptation.
*guy is about to fold the corner*
me: oh HELL nO you won't
*doesn't*
me: phew
I use anything I can find as a bookmark...
These are all really things I have used:
-Sticky notes (I have a whole pile)
-Some unfinished origami I found on the floor.
-Another book (but smaller)
-The folded up price tag
-Piece of paper I ripped from somewhere.
-Toilet Paper (unused, I’m not that sick)
-Candy Wrapper
-Piece of the subway wrapper thingy.
when you only read online books💔
when you're blind and deaf :(
Eliezer Perez how did you watch this video if you're blind and deaf, if you don't mind me asking?
Maddy Gowers sorry I cant see what you're commenting :(
Eliezer Perez 😂😂😂😂
Cant talk right now im driving, ill explain everything later.
My love for books and my actual budget are incompatible so only eBooks for me now...
...get a library card...
+Ella Blair What if i tell you there's no public library in my neighborhood.
That Girl With That Book this is super relatable...
borrow at a library
That Girl With That Book Complain to your local politician... Or like borrow a bunch of books at once from the closest library and only return them when you are done. Or join the library and use their elibrary service (if they have any)
THIS SPEAKS TO ME ON SO MANY LEVELS
-Except when people try to see what book you’re reading so they’ll either yank it out of your hands or force it up to see the cover
-when people read over your shoulder and then whine when you turn the page before they’re done like GET YA OWN BOOK
-when you’re in the middle of the book or you’ve just started or you’re in that stage where there stuff happening but nothings really happening yet and someone asks you what the book is about and you’re like idfk I’m still reading it
-WHEN PEOPLE DOG EAR THEIR PAGES
-WHEN PEOPLE HAVE AN OPEN BOOK AND PLACES THEM FACE DOWN ON A SURFACE THEREBY BENDING THE SPINE OUT OF WHACK
-when you get a book from the library and someone had taken a pen to it
-when people carelessly eat with books and ruin them (I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat when you read and saying be careful or a book worm will crawl out of a book and bite your head off you absolute carrot)
Lucyfer Antiheus o agree with most of this just not the one about putting books face down as long at it doesn’t actually mess up the book. I have had to do that plenty of times when I didn’t have a book mark when my mom was like “get over here now blah blah blah” and I need to save my page.
The dog ear and food thing being annoying to some people bothers me. If I payed money for this book then you need to let me do what I want to it.
Absolute carrot🤣🤣🤣
So so soooooooo relatable
When you go to a bookstore and can smell the paper....and when you just sit in a busy place and read and you forget all the noise as a result
I HAD CHILLS THE ENTIRE TIME AND I LOVE IT
who always puts the books of series in the right order in the book store?
tbh everything about going to the bookstore/library to read is amazing. The comfy chairs to sit in, the cool atmosphere, the peace and quiet, and of course getting lost in the story....
but don't you hug the book for a sec when you finish it before putting it back
I tend to stare at the front cover mournfully and debate whether or not to dive right back in again. lol I have hugged my books when I meet a character who obviously needs a hug, too.
Once me and my friend saw a guy reading this book we both loved, so she walked over to him, leaned against the wall and said “cool book”
Banana bread today actually I saw a girl reading a book all my friends and I have read so I just yelled “that’s a really good book!” At her. Yeah I’m not exactly good at talking to people so it was awkward but hey Idc.
I enjoyed this video a little too much.😍
First of all, I would like to have this big library in my town
I Always get so excited to finish a book and then I'm like "now what?" ._.'
I watched the whole video with a big creepy smile on my face 😁
I relate too much to this ❤️❤️
am I the only one who leaves the price tag on books? So in the future you can look backand complain to your kids on how cheap books used to be
Does anyone else love when the pages are different lengths, so when you shut the book the side is bumpy?
Christine B oh I do
I actually hate that, I love it when everything is neat
Josue Merchan Pazmiño same
if anyone likes gay books then you should read
One Man Guy by Michael Barakiva
(the cover is yellow)
Twenty One Phan Thanks pal.
Twenty One Phan thank u
Twenty One Phan Thanks😊
Also carry on by rainbow rowell
Just read Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe. I just love it and it's gay so win win
Don't forget the smell of old books' pages! I cherish that. A lot.
ZAHRAA ! But...they're dusty...
Nothing compares to the feel and smell of a crisp, clean, new book. No bends in the paper, no crumbs in the creases, just perfection.
Wow
I just love how this video happens to be so aesthetically pleasing..
OMG SAME I NEVER DOG EAR MY PAGES. THEY R TOO PRECIOUS
My aunt did that to one of my books when I was younger and I freaked out XD
I like to dog ear my books personally. Makes the book actually look like it's been read. Plus I love to challenge my self to read further then I did last time when I reread the book. (I also get all my books from an old book stall, where their already pretty much battered. So it doesn't make that much of a difference)
I use to dog ear my books all the time, but I stopped bc it ruins the pages. I only do it if its ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
Sarah The Butter Biscuit it does not ruin it unless you dog ear almost half the page and do it really harshly. a hate seeing a book look really flat and fresh
I've never had any interest or satisfaction in keeping a book like it was store bought, i feel it takes the mark of ownership out of it.
it's your world once you read it and interpret it a certain way right? imo you should be comfortable with it, not wary of it
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
this
Omg this is me. Also, who is this guy because😍😛
I thought you said that was you. :/
Megan Gordon Yea I know what you meant I was just joking with you lol
Megan Gordon His name is David Frankenfield. check description
That guy goes to my climbing gym. So do a number of Buzzfeed people.
+ Chum Krimson Luckyyy!
I was so ready to reach through screen and smack him when I thought he was gonna dog ear that page 😂 😂
When I finish a book, I feel like I have left a part of my soul there and came back to this world
THIS IS ALL TRUE.
RichardMediaGeek Fancy seeing you here. I adore your videos 😊
seriously who flips the page like that!?!
I KNOW RIGHT, I CRINGED REAL HARD!
Zem Vem I know I only flip like that for the sound...
Anybody like when a book just has a new book smell like you just got it and it smells so good in a weird way...just me? Okay
There is just something so satisfying about holding the actual book in your hands and holding the next page, as if preparing to turn it, though your mind is completely caught up in the sentence that you just read and are processing even as you read the other character's response.
So relatable!!! But when I am in a library, I never find people reading the same genre as me 🤷
Really, reading books is the cost of entrying everything.
Reading a book means discovering a new and special world.
Why is this soooooo relatable, you guys are practically showing my life here
The library looked like HEAVEN!!😍😍
This is the most satisfying video I have seen in a long time. I love how they used a guy (those mystical fanboys ya know.) How have I just now seen this video??
When you find the perfect book...😇💎📚
Bliss😌
oh my god this is so satisfying..
Ending a book is by far one of the strangest and unique feelings
