Hey Lauren I know another great fun but also simple little 1960's pop song that everyone could have a crack at playing which only has 4 chords in it, the song is called "I Love You" By Cliff Richard And The Shadows which only has 4 chords in it, A major, D major, E major and B Dominant 7 (or B major as i like to play cause it's easier) and is in the original key of A major like the original record and can be played on the guitar without a capo :) it is also perfect for the ukulele if you transpose the music and play chords from the key of G major and play chords G major, C major, D major and A7 (A dominant 7) chords and then slap a capo on the second fret of your ukulele you will be able to strum and play along to the original hit record from the radio ! :)
That triple explanation. I think the lesson was lost on me 20 years ago and I do 16 instead of 12 for a song I like. It never felt right, like I was taking too long. Now I know why.
i tried to play this and it turned out to sound beautiful! thank you. But I don't know how to play the last part " So happy together........so how is the weather.....so happy together.....so how is the weather...." what chords should I play there? Can someone help me with this?
Love my Crafter!!! Best advice is to be consistent and take your time. Don’t be in a rush and go slow. Start simple. You can always make things harder.
I’ve seen many Times the fingertip needs to touch the string above To mute it ! Then seen it not done many times ! Confusing !!! How do I know When to use my finger tip and when not to !? Thanks primarily solos and riffs

Sounds great!
I find b barre cord to be the hardest chord to play with no capo so I always play a b7 barre chord instead. Basically same thing but easier

It’s B and E back and forth
@@LaurenBateman thank you very much sensei! 🥹
Hi Lauren, I see that you play a Crafter guitar. How well do you like it and any suggestions for a 57 year old male?
Love my Crafter!!! Best advice is to be consistent and take your time. Don’t be in a rush and go slow. Start simple. You can always make things harder.
Hi Lauren, what happened to the B 7 cord for the word together hardest cord I ever learned.🐺
The B7 chord is there. Unless my editor forgot and left it out and I didn't catch it.
I’ve seen many Times the fingertip needs to touch the string above To mute it ! Then seen it not done many times ! Confusing !!! How do I know When to use my finger tip and when not to !? Thanks primarily solos and riffs
Depends on the chord you are playing. It’s less critical on electric than acoustic, but very important when playing power chords.
@@LaurenBateman thanks a bunch ! 🙏
