Don't feel so bad about missing your flight, things just happen, lol. My friend missed her flight because she misread the departure time of 9am as 11am. She then argued with the airline that the ticket wasn't clear enough.
Missing your flight, dropping your phone under a train... Sounds like a day from my worst nightmare 😅 I hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your trip!
