I'm gonna try to figure out how to change the password UPDATE: I HAVE FOUND OUT HOW TO UPDATE THE PASSWORD TO RDM ACCOUNTS 1. Go to your RDM account's settings on the website (same way as a normal microsoft account) 2. Go to Security 3. Advanced security settings 4. Email a code 5. Input an email of yours that you can access in order to enter the code on the next step 6. Change password but click forgot password 7. Get the code from your email and 8. Change your password with a smile :)
its their way to full give you a functional windows to test drive, apple does the same but its just standard managed systems instead with internal software loaded

They are supposed to be destroyed and recycled when that device stops being featured. They use a special OS on them as well, that erases everything after an hour, and geofences it to the Apple Store (or the retail store its being sold at)
This has some serious potential for misuse- hosting otherwise illegal files from a store with virtually 0 traces, even in a VM you could receive *infinite* email verification codes, etc. It's super interesting to think of how it could be abused

I think that version of the Windows retail demo is only used on Surface devices, at least when I checked retail demo units, as I think some PC manufacturers and retailers don't support the official Microsoft RDX. And actually after you enabled this mode, all of the accounts in the system will be disabled, but the personal data will not be cleared till you disable this mode. This action will really wipe your personal data on this computer. Ps: all the programs will be not deleted whether you enable or disable this mode

For me this is just that the devs know how horrible Windows 11 is with a local account since he spam you "connect your account" and the most easy fix they had is to automatically create a new user for it... Like what the hell ?! Windows 11 is so horrible with a local user account that you need to reach that level for making Windows usable ?!
I actually wonder if someone could proxy the requests or do something similar to see the exact network requests made in creating an account and replicate that as a script 😂

trs10 is for the “RetailAdmin” account if you remove admin access immediately
