- Looks like this will be the last Cars and Coffee for Towne Lake, too much craziness going on so they canceled the event. I'm surprised they didn't have cops pulling people over like they do at Houston Coffee and Cars.

SOCAL3800 I’m from Orange County area but a local meet in the area that I know it been shut down for no reason no one didn’t do anything wrong but when it a vip car meet no cops come by I’m really confused about that
@@vce.john1734 i used to live in the OC, we used to meet at the Irvine Great Park and that Sonic up in Fullerton all the time, and never had any issues. But it was mostly F-Body and Vette meets so the crowd was usually older and they didnt really do anything crazy.
SOCAL3800 I’ve been to several meets over the years and in my experience it boils down to what that person has to lose. Most people who own high performance cars had to work really hard for them and probably have a family and good job to hold down. People like that aren’t going to cause any problems. It’s the people who have acquired or built something fast and don’t have those things that usually do the wildest stuff in public.

Fools ruin another C&C, there used to be a GREAT C&C at Blackhawk, Ca.300/400 cars mainly exotics, hot rods and muscle cars, then the late models started showing up acting like idiots and that was that, another great venue for REAL car enthusiasts gone.
Blackhawk didn’t get shutdown because of idiots, it was Dallas cars and coffee that did, and now it’s back on, Blackhawk got shut down due to complaints and the location now wanting them there anymore.
@@johnarmendariez9659 I got an email from Blackhawk explaining the people were just out of control, neighbors complained, they tried more security that didn't work so they shut it down. The TH-cam videos of groups of late model cars acting up coming and going didn't help either. I still go to the couple smaller shows they have.
Blackhawk sent out an email with their reasons for closing, rowdy people, loud cars, people acting foolish. They tried more security, then shut it down. Yes neighbors complained but only when all the late models showed up making videos of their burnouts, mini sideshows coming and leaving Blackhawk. They still have several small shows there which I attend with my sbc MGB.

Car meets and shows used to be for guys covered in grease who work their ass off restoring or building a car...... One of my customers went out and bought a Roush Mustang. He does not even know how to change an oil filter. He knows almost nothing about a car. Every weekend, he goes out to car shows and wins huge trophies and shows them to me. He is all smiles and says "Look what I won"........ How the hell do you win car shows if you have not done a damn thing? ....... So, if I go and buy the Mona Lisa and take it to art shows, should I win prizes and trophies just for buying something? ......... That's just plain retarded.
Ours was cancelled and banned in my hometown because of idiots like that doing burnouts and driving like idiots rather than being there just to appreciate and look at the cars
