Thanks for the excellent footage! 60fps is a win, regardless the resolution. Beautiful flowing track, not too simple, not too hard. Feels like racing and overtakes are possible. Hope the surface holds up.
Thanks for the previews! Looking at practice results, for the most part what I was expecting - J3C and Ongaro on top (Ongargo's P3 wasn't great, imagine either tried something and it didn't work or was focusing on something else than raw speed). Early surprises - DR - I think your analysis podcast someone mentioned DR and there David is...looking rather keen in the XRay. And Boots, right there. Americans, doing about as well as I expected AT THE MOMENT. Phend leading the way, in that top 5-10ish range... right where he needs to be for now. Battle is another ...mentioned as needing to make it happen and we are indeed seeing Battle running very well right now, in his Mayako. jQ even running pretty darn welL, especially for an old man ;) . Tomorrow I expect top American drivers to continue to push into the lower rankings, most likely 2 or maybe 3 being top 15. In your video, RM looking good out there, I think we'll see especially a different RM in practice 4-6.

I think American drivers are right where they would be expected. If we don't see them pushing down lower ranks 4-6 it might be a predictor of "being in trouble". You could very well be right, and ATM it sure looking that way. But the Americans will digest, and come out tomorrow and we will see a difference for rounds 4-6. Not that all drivers won't most likely improve, but it's the Americans who have the greatest potential to improve. When you look at all of the markers, not just top 3, American drivers and other drivers outside the top 10 aren't in nearly as bad as shape as it seems.
