    Without a doubt Paul Allen told his lawyers/sister how to run the team. It's laughable to think Wilson had the clout to do any of that. The defense was always the biggest ticket on the Seahawks, not Wilson. Media does that though.

    • @DeCurtaRican
      @DeCurtaRican 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I disagree that the LoB was the biggest ticket, unless you like your favorite team going 7-9 every year. That’s what the LoB and Marshawn Lynch did in the two years before Russ was drafted, and that was with Matt Hasslebeck at QB.
      To completely dismiss Russ’s impact on that team is ridiculously delusional.

    Russell Wilson is like Tiger Woods, his PR team puts out an image of the wholesome GOOD Guy, Family Man image, but then eventually the REAL person comes out. In Tiger's case, his wife found out about his infidelities and ALL heck breaks loose. In Wilson's case, his former teammates, coaches, charity, plus his own actions, etc exposed this guy as the REAL DEAL DIVA, who believed in his own OVERRATED hype, and thinks he's the best thing since Tom Brady. Like having his own OFFICE in the executive, management floor where he thinks he's the TOP guy, and the rest of the players are his minions. NOT good optics, vibe for the rest of the team. 🤔

    So I'm looking at both sides. I tryed at that time thought Russ stay Pete GO. Like it was possible. Anything is.,so in Russ defence ok he needed oline we all know. But he didnt want to take pay cut part did hurt him going back to the SB. Reason being Pete knew Strenths and weakness for Wilson at mid 30s we know Run Game an Outstanding Boom X. He not as fast was an have ti pass from pocket with out extending a play 80% time. Pete saw that part and the Fame stuff over time put Wilson in diff train of thought as an NFL Athlete. Glad Everyone was happy in 2022 Spring Wilson wanted out to Denver Broncos happy too Hawks Happy he went and 12s Happy of the Full Results in yr 1. He be better with Payton. Pete’s career record in games coached without Russ as his QB is 55-57! Geno is currently 10-11 as the Seahawks starter.
      Russ saved the Seahawks! They had gone 7-9 in back-to-back seasons before Russ was drafted, and that was with a great defense, Marshawn Lynch, and Matt Hasslebeck at QB.
      Furthermore, Pete admitted in a Bleacher Report Article that if not for Russ his coaching career with the Seahawks wouldn’t have lasted.

      That’s EXACTLY where Pete and John are going with this. Anyone who doesn’t think they started this sh*t is a crash-test dummy.
      They don’t want Russ to win without them because it will soil Pete’s legacy. The Seahawks were a 4-13 team with a 9-8 record, and 5 of their wins only happened because Nathaniel Hackett handed them a win they shouldn’t have gotten, and the Rams and Broncos were badly injured in key positions.
      They Barely went 9-8 with help, and they still barely got into the playoffs.
      Geno is 10-11 as the Seahawks starting QB. Pete and Kohn can act as excited as they want to, but they know who really rob the trade, and Pete expected Russ to completely torch his D…which he pretty much did!
      Russ’s boys didn’t show up…fumbling twice on the goal line, dropping easy passes in the end zone, and negating Russ’s TD pass with a holding call…
      People talk like the Seahawks were world beaters. They’re going 3-14 next season. Watch.

Peyton will only control Wilson until they reach the line of scrimmage. Then Wilson will change the play if he wants. He will also be limited by what he can see. Regardless of OC's in Seattle, the offense always looked the same. The best plays were always backyard football. Without his legs, Wilson doesn't play backyard football at an elite level. Someone is threatened by what Russell represents off the field. The same people who push gangsters and the Nipsey Hustles down the throats of young black boys. Russell is the 180 degree antithesis of that.
    He and his marriage to Ciara represent the intact, healthy black family. His own persona doesn't have any of the hip-hop inspired "street" elements that so many other athletes project.
    He represents the classic blackness that they have tried so very hard to destroy for the past 4 decades. The only question is whether it's right-wing or marxists behind it, as both groups have an interest in the black family being crippled.
