Our friend Memo came by to shoot with us again and this time he brought his recently completed 1970 Chevelle and it’s awesome!! Naturally aspirated 427 LS making 650 hp!! Fun times with our friend Memo and his Chevelle.

You can never go wrong with all black everything and the chrome bumpers and trims, it really sets it off

Most Chevelles are perfection! 66 to 71, (include 72 for style...)
@@robertpoudrette4483as much as i agree that the 66-69 are badass I personally just like look at them not personally own haha, for me to personally own & put money into it, it would have to be a 70-71 i mean 72 chevelle as well since its the same as the 71 haha, it just sucks ass that they’re so expensive now..
Love that west coast style music at the beginning. Build is bad ass!!
Gorgeous build, love it. But more sorting out of that automatic trans is needed, for all the noise it makes when it downshifts, it really doesn’t look to be accelerating very hard. Watch their heads, the RPM jumps but zero head movement, no forward G’s.

Easily my favorite car featured on Autotopia. Just SSSSSICK. What I like the most is that it's a NA 427, practical, and streetable daily driver with no frills. No trailer queen BS.

I absolutely love Chevelles! Even as a Trans Am owner years ago. Miss my 77 TA. Beautiful car. Sounds amazing. The Buick still gave you the best face reaction! 😂😂😂

I think that the only things that it needs is a 3 point seat belts kit, and spacers or kit for the front wheels so that they're closer to the fenders.

Here we are 54 years later, watching this masterpiece and wishing to have cars made & designs by engineers who listened to car enthusiast NOT some none sense politician commentary like how it used to be.

Phenomenal Chevelle!!!! In my 1968 Barracuda fastback, I run a 512 stroker featuring CNC Trick Flow heads and a hydraulic roller cam, all backed by an A833 4 speed manual. 👍

As I've stated MANY times in the past, I'm NOT a big fan of "restomods", however, IF they're done right, nothing looks better...with the 1970 Chevelle being one of my favs, this one was done(not overdone) right...kudos...
I'd still like to see, and hear, carbureted, love to hear those secondaries open up, with a nice downshift...

Suggestion Editing: Editing is great. Love the channel. I think what would make it even better would be a few clips of street driving mixed into the whole video so that the driving in the car is shorter. And mix in some more slow driving. I always fast forward through the last half of the video, because it's boring after a seeing a couple of burnout clips or screaming down the road.

Love it... Killer look and sound on this 70
i like the ls engines but i been getting the 450 hp 454 bbc with a 02xx trans for free with low miles. the engine has steel crank heavy rods high flow head 10.5 to 1 compression all they need is to breath. i put on a after market intake with a 850 carb and it comes alive and the 02xx trans has the heavy duty 8 bolt pump heavy clutches stage one shift kit stock good to 800 hp . then when u put it in a rig it just looks huge takes up all the space just looks bad ass. i just put one in a 68 pu and it looks sweet in it i did make it look like it was dun by factory. i used a lot of parts off a 96 pu with a 454 in it used a fan shroud off of a car that fit perfect because of room for one had to use a flex fan only has a 1/2 inch from pulleys and 1 inch from the radiator then put a twin pusher fans on front that came with engine. so far i only have 2000 in the rig running and driving just needs final paint and interior finished have dash dun looking sweet plus a set of full movement electric heated leather seats a 71 blazer center console. i did buy a new tail gate because the old one was a little beat up but the rest of the rig was clean with full chrome trim it does have prefect a patina but i will end up painting it. my next project is a 79 z28 rs t top have all the parts for it collected all for free with 2 extra z28's for parts new fly wheel with 12 inch clutch bunch of new parts all for free
