Cash and Company (TV 1975) opening and first scene.

Opening of Cash and Company and the first scene from the second episode. The series was aired in Australia (Seven Network) and the UK (London Weekend Television) in 1975. Cash and Company was the adventures of Bushrangers Sam Cash (Serge Lazareff) and Joe Brady (Gus Mercurio), plus the helpful Widow Jessica Johnson (Penne Hackforth-Jones). Thet were constantly chased by the corrupt Police Officer Lieutenant Keogh (Bruce Kerr) and his Troopers. The series was set in South East Australia in the 1850's.

A great piece of Australian Television History right here. I love this series and the cast is great and compliment the storylines well. I was sad Serge Lazareff was unable to return to Tandarra. But I enjoyed it all the same.

Oh man, you have no idea how high and low I have hunted for this series to watch it again. The originals are stored on 16mm film in Australia. Make some DVDs for us fans!

This was screened in South Africa 🇿🇦 around 1980 and dubbed into Afrikaans
Tandara was screened around 1986.....

Excellent Australian series, we used to watch this in the seventies on UK TV on Sundays. Shame more isn't heard of it, here on YT or DVD
