    It's all subjective but I definitely like the Stealth versions of the Ananda and Arya over the OG's. Ananda SM are great

    Love your video’s and have been waiting for your Ananda Stealth review. I am looking for an upgrade from Sundara’s (newest version) as a Christmas gift to myself and trying to determine if Ananda SE is the way to go or is there enough difference to justify the additional $500 - $600 for the Arya Stealth.

    Thank you for giving me peace of mind lol. I sold my original Anandas for the Stealth and added about 150 more for them.

    "space" was OG Ananda's strongpoint. How does this one stack up?

    The grill actually look little different if you look close, the edge seems to be a bit thicker.

    I had original Ananda and liked everything about comfort and sound, my first high-end planar headphones. But man, did they leave a bad taste. Less than a year since the purchase a left earpiece stopped working (membrane failed). HIFI-MAN agreed to send a replacement pair for 250$ (I also had return to them my pair for 60$ shipping). The new pair was fantastic too... until after a year RIGHT earpiece died (same problem). HIFI-MAN again proposed same deal - return the pair and replace with a new one for 250$. This time I decided to give up and stop this subscription service - 250+60$ every 6-12 months.
    PS. Maybe the problem is not entirely on HIFI-MAN QC side. I live in a relatively humid climate that might damage thin fragile foil/membrane of a planar-magnetic headphone driver. (I never had such problem with standard dynamic driver headphones)

      I have a new video posting in about 2 hours. It's called 10.5 years with the Hifiman HE-500. I guess I've been lucky, but I've had 11 different Hifiman headphones, and not one failure so far. I discus the wide range of reliability with Hifiman headphones in my video.

    I will need new headphones for studio production...which do you suggest for flat/neutral sound reproduction between these...and maybe other cans you reviewed in the past ? Thanks !

    Hey William, I just had to comment that your review helped push me over the edge in trying the Ananda Stealth on a b-stock deal from HiFiman and I couldn't be more pleased with them. Even after many comparisons to a friend's Audeze LCD-X loaner, I keep coming back to the Ananda Stealth because it just brings more "wow" for me. Curious, with the many amps you tried with them, did any one in particular stand out in the $600 new or used price range?

    • @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250
      @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The EF-400 is a perfect match, if you can live with only a USB input. I also really like the Singxer SA-1, or for a little more the FiiO K9 PRO ESS.

      @@theheadphoneexperience-wil2250 thanks! As I already have a DAC I was trying to decide between the Schiit Jot 2 and a used Singxer which makes them about the same cost.

    I've been listening to HD600s since 1998. Recently I upgraded my DAC/AMP to the Modi+ and Magni+. How would the Ananda Stealth compare? Would the upgrade in sound quality justify the cost? Thanks for your posts!

    I thought the Stealth arya sound a lot more detailed 😊 you basically describe the Soundstage being very flexible in in its Presentation it can be small and large at the same time

    • @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250
      @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I would agree that the Arya stealth is more detailed than the Ananda Stealth, but not by a large amount.
      The soundstage of the Arya Stealth sounds almost narrow to me with some music, and fairly wide with other recordings. More so than with other headphones I have reviewed.

    Hi Will, i just got my hands on the original ananda without knowing there was a stealth model, im able to swap it out for the newer one is it worth it in your opinion? ive compared the fr graphs and the 8khz spike put me off, were you able to hear it?

    • @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250
      @theheadphoneexperience-wil2250  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm 58 years old and not super sensitive to treble. A lot of people consider Hifiman headphones to be too bright. I just hear lots of clean sparkly detail. I love the Ananda Stealth.

      @aryojavanmard7775 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@theheadphoneexperience-wil2250 Sounds good, ill probably keep with what i have then. Id say the og ananda is the perfect amount for me as i found the arya to be too bright, and even the og ananda on some sources was too bright for me

    • @soulfulfool
      @soulfulfool 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aryojavanmard7775 I was owner of Arya v2 "was" because it was so bright for my ears I had to sell it. If people think that headphones must be so bright to be detailed are sadly mistaken, its just bad tuning or weakness of planar drivers. Sibilance was rly bad, distortion of electric guitars was a hot mess, timbre fake cold maybe as some call it metallic. Basically it was older model not stealth but it is common among Hifiman products to fail in treble region, maybe my amp wasnt "warm" enough maybe they need amp that cost lets say 3k$ to cure them off that sharpness 😅. I know they was too bright because where they create "hot mess" my other headphones worked like filter showing me detail and layers of sound not making me deaf

    May i ask Between sundara2022 and ANANDA STEALTH, if compared to each other, which one sounds fullbody, warm, dynamic better? And which one is more interesting?

    Different specs are all over the internet. You said 27 ohms/103 dB. I've seen: 18ohms/92dB 16ohms/93dB 25ohms/103dB
    26ohms/93dB How confusing!! Plus on the HiMan website they have Amanda Stealth Version 2 and 3! V2 26ohms/93dB V3 16ohms/93dB there is no way to tell if you are getting version 2 or 3? What's up with this company?

      I don't know which one is better and why the Ohm difference...
