Imagine it Mamamoo were on stage and everyone in the audience held up a sign saying never letting go. So they wrote this for the fans.
They had their first concert two years after their debut.

This Really personal song for fans from mamamoo.. I would recommend for next live : "Mamamoo immortal songs medley. " Its live epic showcase of their stage presence and vocals.

I can’t with this song/video, everytime i see it … its like instant water works….
I think i read somewhere that Wheein had a heads up about the video- so she was able to help the other members afterwards.

I would not have recommended this as the first live performance! lol. This was a fan song ( very nice story behind this) Solar wrote this as a thank you to moomoos. The parents video was a surprise that only Wheein knew about so she could carry the song just in case the others would cry so much they couldn’t go on. This would hit you hard later if you got to know them more.

Thanks for your reaction, you want live performance ? Mamamoo has tons , they have been performing in many music award shows many years including those from MAMA shows which has the most viewed video but was taken down without any reason. Those you found may not be the full version and would mostly get blocked.

solar cried because originally, solars parents objected to solar pursuing a career as a kpop artist

there first performance there was only 3 fans and were family and friends only. They were judged alot for not fitting beauty standards as a group in debut..so they wrote this song to thank fandom that started small for. "never letting them go" when they were not that famous and small company..

Their first broadcast, only 3 person there, 2 of them were Moonbyul’s little sister, little Moon even went to her concert in Seoul without her knowing, they are legit Mamamoo and Moonbyul legendary supporter. I don’t remember the other one but their humble start made them who they are now.

As kudgeond and others have already explained, this is Mamamoo's first fan song as well as their first concert. Mamamoo's back story is necessary to truly appreciate how much this song means to Mamamoo and Moomoos.
Fun fact. At one of their US concerts last year one or two fans threw pink panties on stage.... because years ago Hwasa did a cover of Robin Thicke and Pharrell's song Blurred Lines and called it Pink Panties.

It's kinda too bad you watched I Love Too so early in your Mamamoo journey and that you didn't know anything about the song beforehand. I Love Too is the first fan song Mamamoo wrote for moomoos. The Korean title is Never Letting Go. The back story will explain Moonbyul's line about crying. At one of their first fanmeets when they were rookies moomoos surprised the girls by holding up signs reading Never Letting Go while they were in the middle of the song Love Lane. They broke down crying and had trouble finishing the song. Solar responded by writing the main lyrics for I Love Too and then Moonbyul & Hwasa added their rap verses. I always recommend new moomoos wait before watching this MV so they can truly grok the emotions of the moment. Once you get to know them you'll fall in love and then there's no way you get through this video without crying along with them.
Solar tries to be a hard ass as the leader but the members know she has a pure, innocent spirit and an enormous, generous heart (and tease her relentlessly lol). She says she has a hard time expressing gratitude and that's why she wrote their 2nd fan song Star Wind Flower Sun but she doesn't really need to say what's written on her face in capital letters. You were so right that this vid captured a special moment in their lives and at one point toward the end I think Solar is making a promise to herself to never forget this moment and to return the love & support from moomoos and her parents tenfold. I think she's still operating under that promise and still acts like she hasn't done enough - she's the hardest working member of one of if not the hardest working group in show biz.
Moo means radish, hence the radish light sticks, which are called moobongs. I dunno why it's called a moobong but it doesn't function as the kind of bong you're thinking of lol. My memory of the 70's is kinda foggy but I seem to recall making a bong out of a watermelon back then, but that's a different story about a different member of the vegetable family. 🥴 Moomoos used to wear radish costumes and carry real Korean radishes to MMM events before they had official light sticks. And no, they didn't throw the radishes at the stage. The current version of the light sticks can change colors and flash a couple different speeds.
If you want high energy performances check out any of their award show appearances. Some networks will probably block reactions to their videos but I think the ones on MNET should be ok. The female competition show Queendom was on MNET and folks have reacted to those performances so try Destiny, Decalcomanie or Good Luck (MMM's radically rearranged cover of a song by AOA) for high energy or the ballad I Miss You for god tier vocals.
Can you please turn up the volume on your mic?

Light stick is a radish as in Korean Moo means radish. Fans are MooMoos (radish radish) This is why we welcome new MooMoos with the phrase, "Welcome to the radish farm." Before they had a lightstick some people would bring real radishes to their concerts. 😊😊😊😊 Mamamoo's lightstick also vibrates. This is so fans who a deaf or hard of hearing can know when to cheer. I love it!! I have it on my shelf along with the ERibong (Exo lightstick) and the lightstick of The Rose, who y'all should please check out😊😊😊

Every time I hear Hwasa's parents say: "Hello, my DAUGHTERS." breaks me. Hwasa and Wheein are friends since middle-school, so more than 15 years, and Wheein's dad is basically a scumbag, used her fame to stole money from others and some Koreans even blamed her for her dad's crimes. BTW only Wheein knew this VCR would happen, and I think even she didn't know that it was a message from their parents. I'm not 100% sure because it was a long time ago.

There are no official positions. In the first years they themselves made their own choreo's.
In general Moonstar is considered one of the best dancers of the group and has a very unique style that is neither masculine or overly femine.
Wheein is the other best dancer seeing that she picks up new moves the fastest and can handle lots of styles.
Hwasa is the 'worst' which means she is the slowest to take up new moves... to illustrate just how bad she is, Hwasa won the "Best Dance Performance Solo" at the MAMA 2020
    :)
