The way I screamed when I saw Chip & Kim win this season!! It was so great that they got the win. I watched this season in reruns (on the Game Show Network) maybe 2 or 3 years after it aired live, but I mis-remembered the winners. I was so sure (& disappointed) that it was Colin and Christie who had won. Even the previous guests on this rewatch podcast had me thinking it must be Colin and Christie as the winners. What a great season made even better by Chip and Kim as the winners of the season. I love the rewatch podcast. Keep it up with other seasons as we wait a long time for the next new season! Great to see Chip and to hear that he and Kim are doing so well 20 years later!

Totally agree. I think when I watched OG style, I was like, "Black people can win." I did my sis n law and me audition. But never came to pass. But this really started my love of reality competition!

I loved this season 5 recap. I hope y’all do more older season recaps. Seasons 6 and 7 are also classic seasons (7 being better than 6) that I think y’all would do well recapping.

@@BriceIzyah215 I will say, the new revived version of TAR Australia by Channel 10 is not as good as the original Channel 7 version! Seasons 1-3 (2011-2014) are great seasons! Season 2 is my favorite TAR season of all time with US Season 5 being my second favorite! TAR Australia 2 is regarded by the fandom at large to be the 2nd best season of TAR! I don’t think Brooke has watched it either, so it would be so cool to see both of your reactions! I have the tea on unaired things and a little behind-the-scenes knowledge that I have found on the internet over the past year since I watched it for the first time. Once again thank you guys for covering this amazing season of Amazing Race! I enjoyed every second of it!

This was absolutely such a fun series. I know I watched this live but I honestly couldn’t remember who won so it was so fun rewatching and reliving! I was jumping up and down at their win and then when I saw who the guest was, I was so so excited to see Chip! Thank you so much for doing this and being so full of joy always! I would like to see an all winners season as well, however I have concerns about that: #1 reason It’ll probably be like Winners at War- New School vs Old School. #2 reason CBS has not given the same budget as older seasons, hence having the show on Sunday’s instead of after Survivor. I’ve always had an issue with that. #3 reason Alliances will be formed before the race even starts. That’s a big problem. I’m happy Chip & Kim won, I saw it live, I was happy for them.😊
