Caver rappells old Norwegian abandoned mine | Ulriksdal mines part 1

The Ulriksdal mines is an abandoned mine just outside the Norwegian city of Trondheim. Mining operations started in 1670, and the last attempt was between 1916 and 1918. In the older times, they extracted copper and, and in newer times pyrite. The now lost mines hold some interesting formations, among other things a mineshaft I rappel down. These are the newer parts. Ulriksdal gruve / Ulriksdal gruver er en nedlagt gruve like utenfor Trondheim. Gruvedriften startet i 1670. Den ble så lagt ned, og siste forsøk var mellom 1916 og 1918. I eldre tid tok de ut kobber og i nyere tid svovelkis. Den nå forlatte gruven har noen interessante formasjoner. Dette er de nyere delene av gruven. De eldre vil bli lagt ut i neste del.
