I used to love riding the bale sledge as a boy, it was my job to let the stack go when all 10 bale made the triangle. I was too little to stack the bales myself. Great video brings back great memories.
Good video- we used to bale hay with my old 880 too - we used to bale with the PTO in high right enough that way you got 540rpm ar 1200 engine revs - used a NH 68 baler then a big 940 at the end up

Lovely place to be working on such a great day . U bale all day like that and u go to bed at night and u still feel like ur movjn on the baler hahha
@@euanmacdiarmid6111 hi euan thanks for keeping me right . Ur broon is in great nick . Wilks must have sold hundreds if not thousands of tractors over the year. Plus the claas stuff too . My late father was a shepherd at leighwood farm at butterstone in the 70s they had various 990s a couple of 1412s mostly from grassicks but the claas stuff came fae wilks . . I think they still have at least one of the old 990s lyin around the steadin . I thought it looked like loch tay but didna want to commit mysel lol . I should ken fit it looks like ive bn up and down both sides of the loch . Carting timber we bryan harpers from insch and also donald morton fae auchterarder nice places . But tourists can be a pest lol . And they canna drive mostly lol . Thanks again . Cheers .

Ian Innes tractor supplied by wilks in 1969 and this was up loch tayside correct.
