Hi Awais, your tutorial is very good, but it would be much better if you can go much slower, and supply a hard copy or a text version of what you are explaining to allow beginners to follow your steps. thanks
off topic. I have done my house project in Revit, in which I modified or added many materials e.g. Wall Paints, Floor styles & many more.. I did not use all of them but I just created for use in future projects. How can I import those (all of them either I used or not) to a new project?
You can open both projects in Revit, then on the new project, go to manage> Transfer Project Standards, then select materials, and you're done! For more useful tips, visit www.revit-courses.com/
In rvt19, when I open a new project I dont see 3d view as an option in the project browser. Simply go to the view ribbon and find the panel with 3d view and click on the icon. It will then add 3d view to the project browser.
I also had the same problem and a Google search just gave me a lot of people talking around the problem instead of addressing it directly. I found a way to solve the issue though by playing with the program for a few minutes. Go to the view tab at the top, the click on the drop down for the little house that says "3D view". Click on "Default 3D view". Now your drawing should be in a perspective view, and you should also see that the 3D Views tab is now added to the Project Browser on the left side. Cheers!
