I've used this mucis in my D&D campaign to tell my players when they're in a fight that they can't win, that they're only chance of survival is to run or it's a very deadly boss. Now, everytime they hear it, they start screaming in panic and it's everyone for themselves.

Its a genre/technice of music that has a name, but i cant recall it, all the tracks have this slow menacing tone without the build up part. Any help? Most recent example i can think of is in Vikings S4E15 at the end, when Ivar the Boneless holds the pawn in his bleeding hand right before the episode ends.
