    No words. This boy's biological mother wanted him dead, and then his foster mother killed him. I just can't believe that's a real thing. It's alarming enough that ANY parent wants to kill their child, but to have two in a row...it leaves me speechless.
    Hug your loved ones tight. Have a safe weekend.

      All children deserve loving parents, no matter if they are biological, foster, or adoptive parents. I just don’t understand the mindset of a person who could harm, much less m*rder their child. The only conclusion I can come to is that they are sociopaths. They know how to blend into polite, normal society. They have no conscience. They don’t know what empathy is. They show no remorse for the harmful or deadly things they do to others. They always blame others for their bad decision and bad behavior. And they are narcissistic. This fits these kinds of parents. They may say they feel bad for the terrible things they do to their child(ren), and may look upset, but deep down, they don’t. They’re just mad they got caught! Thank you for giving these innocent children the voices they never had when they were alive. Your videos are done with love and respect for the victims, but I do love how you reprimand the evil people in these tragedies, and don’t make excuses for them!

    DSFS was sued successfully in Illinois by the ACLU for placing children in more dangerous homes than the homes they were removed from. Later, a governor’s investigation revealed most DCFS employees and supervisors were not even qualified for their jobs after I sent the governor a hand written report written in 4th grade language by one of their DCFS supervisors that sparked the state wide investigation. This supervisor along with another supervisor had only a high school diploma. These employees had a choice to becoming qualified or lose their jobs. This agency is the most troubled and trashy agency the state ever had. They can’t seem to do adequate background checks on any foster home in this state. Quite a number of local foster parents have been busted for sexual abuse over the years.

      I got lucky my first home was my mom. However I had to be away for several years. In which I was fighting the foster dad off or the neighborhood dad's. They where trying to r!pe me. I handled it all without being believed by the state. One foster home which all kids here pretty much know where the new kids have to stay downstairs in an open room on a couch. Not invited upstairs for meals or talks etc and all their kids or old foster kids would come down to their locked rooms .. it was wild

      @@queeniesarver9788 I’m sorry to hear about your health challenges. My father fought cancer for 20 years but he was in remission when he passed away from Alzheimer’s. He had multiple cancers which I suspect it was military related. No family history of cancer. My ex called DCFS at least 20 times on me which were unfounded. They did nothing to arrest this crack pot. I got fed up enough to contact the governor. There was no ombudsman back then, but intake told me our local DCFS was the worst in the state due to high volume of complaints. Children were dying or molested in our community with active cases. That’s when I contacted the governor with the incriminating evidence to prove our local DCFS hired unqualified employees. Jim Edgar was the governor who had all field offices vetted for unqualified employees, which most of them were. They took workplace mobbing and bullying out on qualified workers, driving them away. However, I didn’t see much improvement over the years. They’re just as batshit crazy and stupid as the ones who were forced to resign. I suspect Ky’s CPS is just as dysfunctional with unqualified employees. I wanted to share my experience with others and bring awareness about the employees which were mostly unqualified in our state and I suspect Ky has mostly unqualified employees because I already heard about before. DCFS came about in 1967. They had no functional plans at all except to bully others, and took kids without a court order. Basically, it’s called kidnapping for money. It’s called trafficking children. When crimes are committed against children it becomes a police matter in the first place. All CPS does is traumatize families and children for money at the expense of a child’s welfare. There are legitimate calls to DCFS which they largely ignore, hoping things will get worse. Many DCFS employees are sick people and have no business dealing with families. They’re known as “clusterfucks” by local attorneys. I know one Ky caseworker who was fired from her job-a girlfriend of my cousin who drove him into suicide. He was 29, very popular and his fellow cop buddies got her fired the very next day. Ky CPS is so dysfunctional and I believe Ky governor should do the same thing our governor did to vet these people. It turned out, our DCFS hired unqualified employees who purchased their jobs with the state via ‘campaign contributions’. I have no confidence in this trashy failing dangerous agency.

Even if you go against in court you would not get rid of "the looks" from the people as you are guilty from association just from beeing "the husband" of that monster. The public, your friends and probably your family will isolate you from everything. In their minds they will be always be that little droplet of doubt. Then you have two options: Self-deletion or sell everything, cut contact with everyone and move 2000 miles from there and start over a new life...If you can because the past will always haunts you, even inside your mind: "Will this new wife will also murder my baby?" that question will chase you even when you reach old seniorhood.

      It’s easy to say “ oh I would would have taken him and loved on him. Oh why didn’t Pammy give him to me” personal,y I find that a little disgusting . Apparently this poor baby had a mother that did t want him, but the “ fami,y” didnt want him to be placed in a foster home and possibly be adopted . Yet they couldn’t vidna single person in their family willing to take him . And as far as the grandparents…. I’m of 2 momds about that. On one hand I can see how a 5 year old that has been bounced around, wieh no stable parent figures his whole life could be “ a little rough” and difficult for old people to cope with.
      A lot depends on the grandparents health and physical condition .
      But they coukd have asked for help from the social services for him, and for them. He was 5 so why not get him in preschool. Maybe have a child thearpist work with him on the behaviors that made him “ rough” . And help the grandparents work with the child when he was home, how to de escalate outbursts etc. Was it actual emotional or mental problems that caused acting out and violence or was it just an active 5 year old that the grandparents couldn’t deal wirh?
      It just looks like that no one in the family trusted the systems that we have for children….. no one actually bothered to ask for help. And the question I have is Did Darnell have some mental or emotional problem that made him difficult to care for, disruptive, violent with meltdowns and outbursts for no reason? Did anyone ask for help to find out? And get he,o wirh his problems?
      Or was he just a normal active 5 year old that acted out because , he didn’t feel loved and cherished, no one read him stories, spent time playing with him, taking him to the park to run and play and get that energy out, , letting him play with other children, and start teaching him colors, alphabet and numbers…, was it because he hadn’t had a stable loving environment in his whole life ?
      This case reallly bothers me. And I think it’s because there are so many unanswered questions ( some of that’s because it’s an active case, Bjtbtheres are still so many questions wieh no answers ) and there seems to be such a level of hypocrisy on the part of his family.

    Well that murder case was like shooting fish in a bucket. All it demonstrates is how desperately hard it is to care for small children and infants without good support systems in place. It shows the patience and love mothers and primary caregivers overwhelmingly give their tiny children day in, day out,year in, year out. It also shows that people really need to be genetically invested in a child to really, properly love and care for them. I stand by that. It’s an exceptional human being that disproves that. That’s why adoptive parents are so special. That’s why surrogacy is such a minefield. That’s why foster parents need to be vetted so well - or should be. Poor Pammy Maye, mad as a butchers dog. She has to live with murdering a tiny child for the rest of her life and throwing the body in a drain. Planning it, carrying it out, disposing of the body, running away. Appalling.

    Those poor grandparents. Taking care of a toddler is hard as a young parent, let alone being elderly. They did what they thought was best for him, and the outcome was devastating. Totally not their fault. I feel awful for them. 💔

    I understand why the elderly grandparents couldn't handle a toddler. No shame to them, they are in their golden years and probably were having difficulty taking care of themselves. The pleas from the grandfather was heartbreaking

    I was really angered when I heard he's grandparents give that lame excuse despite knowing what he had gone through.. really, he's tough?
    So the best decision was to give him away?
    And that shameless Aunt, what's her excuse? He was too much to handle for her too?
    Shameless!!

      The grandparents didn’t want to stop looking after him but w him being a toddler at the time and w their age, it made it hard on them to give him the care and attention a child at that age needed. They didn’t want him in the system so they waited til they had what they thought was a loving caring home for him. And they tried staying in touch w calls and visits to Pammy’s house but she blocked all their attempts. They even tried getting visitation rights thru the court system. These amazing grandparents r truly heartbroken. I’m sure they r hard enough on themselves for the outcome and don’t need these negative comments making their grief worse. I didn’t know them but u can draw all these conclusions just from this story.

      My son is very hard to handle sometimes but me and my fiancée have found ways to calm him and his energy! My little boy doesn’t have a calm down chill out button! It’s full blast from the time he wakes up until he takes a nap then he wakes up from a nap he’s at 100 again! For the first 3 years of his life I was a single mom doing it on my own but never once did I want to kill him! I would just silently cry and hold him close! Never did I actively even think of hurting him! Even the time when he was born for 3 straight months the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him I hadn’t slept for 3 whole months to the point I was actively seeing things that were not there!!!! When the doctors finally figured out what was wrong I cried bc he was hungry the whole time bc he needed surgery! It was 3 whole months of crying! I was so used to waking up ever 30 mins to an hr to crying that the first night in the hospital with him the nurse came in to take him out and feed him so I could sleep! I looked like a psycho bc I said where’s my baby? She said oh I’m feeding him! I said is that okay? I know I looked crazy bc I was in a daze! She said honey go back in there and get sleep I will take care of your child tonight! I felt so relieved! That morning she came in and she told me the other nurse asked if I was normal and what was wrong with me lol she said when kids come in with this problem the mothers often haven’t slept in a very long time! It was the first time the new nurse had seen a parent like me who hadn’t slept in months bc I had no help not even the 5 ppl in my mothers home helped me!!! My fiancée now is adopting my son and my life couldn’t be better now! I don’t know how or what causes these women to kill children!

    I know it turned out badly but i do want to say that it was a good thing the grandparents tried to do by recognizing they were unable to properly care for the child and doing what they could to find a home for him they believed was safe. It's unfortunate that our social safety nets for children in need and parent/guardian support services are nine circles of dysfunctional beaureaucratic hell
    Rest in peace, baby darnell you deserved more, but this is not the defining piece of you. you are held close and loved in our hearts

    This poor sweet boy was abandoned and failed by every person in his family!! I cannot believe he was just given away by both the mother and his own grandparents! Kids are rough, kids are tough, but they are worth it and every child deserves a family that would rather die than be without that child. My heart aches for this sweet boy and I wish so badly he had been born to someone else who would have cherished every hair on his precious head!

    Why was she allowed to have legal custody with all of the known mental health issues?! When will the system that's put in place to protect children start putting the children's health and safety first?
    Edit: Let me just make it clear that I am not saying that having mental health issues means you shouldn't have, adopt, or foster kids. I also DON'T think mental health issues mean that the person is going to commit murder. I think that before courts award custody to anyone a mental health evaluation needs to be conducted thoroughly to determine if the person is fit to raise a child. If a person already has known mental health issues, then that evaluation needs to be even more thorough, and the person needs a strong support system put in place, to ensure that child's safety. There is so much more that needs to be done in the system that is not being done. If it was, we wouldn't have so many of these cases.

      Having bipolar and depression doesn’t make you a murderer though. We shouldn’t stigmatize mental illness. It’s already frowned upon and people don’t get the help they need because of that.

      Here in Ohio, Children Services and the court really dgaf! I know, I was in the system as a child. Throughout the years, I have seen children taken from loving homes, because a case worker didn’t like the parents attitude. I have also seen children left in abusive environments WITH obvious abuse. It’s all a $ game.

      I’d like just explain a couple things here. I have Bipolar 1. I receive the proper medication, and have been in therapy most my life. I’m a normal person and I function as such. That’s like saying epileptics shouldn’t drive, even if they are seizure free.

    • @mellowmia4303
      @mellowmia4303 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@HailDanielleNo one has said or implied that bipolar, depression, or any mental illness makes someone a murderer. The problem is people with these mental disorders shouldn't have children placed with them and for clear reason, which is why most agencies have policies on said disorders.

    • @pyronixa8561
      @pyronixa8561 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@mellowmia4303by that logic, then anyone with a mental illness needs their kids taken away from them, since there are clear reasons for them to not be in a parental position. Right?
      Also, you can't say that there isn't an obvious straight line drawn within context of comments saying people with bipolar, depression, etc shouldn't be in charge of kids on a video about said person having committed murder. That's a clear parallel to calling people with mental illnesses murderers. Duh

    Do our 911 dispatchers have quality equipment? There is a fair amount of having to ask for repeats with most of the conversations. The man says his wife has killed their foster son. The dispatcher asks if this behavior is out of character for her. Better training and better equipment plus a solid dose of common sense should be helpful.
