I never had a birthday cake made for me as a child, my parents were always to busy with work. But I vowed I would never be like them. So I am doing this cake for my 2 year old granddaughter as I want all my children and my grandchildren to have photos of every special time in their lives. You are amazing by the way. Should the cake be stored t room temperature or in the fridge? I would want to the cakes a couple days ahead and decorate at least day before. I have heard putting fondant in the fridge can make it crack is this true? Also Any tips for transporting in the car and hw long can it be out at room temperature?
