Tarikh Episode 20
In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil narrates the story of Kakori train Heist in 1925. The revolutionaries including Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaq Ulla Khan and Chandra Shekhar Azad were looking to raise funds for the revolutionary activities of Hindustan Republican Association. After the train heist due to a small mistake, they were caught. Ram Prasad Bismil, Roshan Singh, Ashfaq Ulla and Rajendra Lahiri were sentenced to death for their involvement in the Kakori conspiracy. While several others were sentenced to jail. Very well said Nikhil or who-so-ever has done all the research and wrote the episode. Around 11:00 minutes of the video till 13:30 minutes of video, it is rightly told that people are raised to the level of god just in the folklore, the people may not be great also, but they did things differently and achieved great results. That is applicable for everybody. I too believe that Lord Ram wasn't a god but his thoughts were great, as mentioned by @saurabhtop in one episode, that Lord Ram wanted to create a society free from social evil, the Ram Rajya (as told in today's context) but in today's context do we actually have Ram Rajya??? People need to just be kind to others and do their job, that would be enough for our society.
