I guess i'll have to do that soon. The best thing about her hair is that the curls stay put even after you brush through it. And it doesn't tangle. Love her silky hair.

On the plus side, at my local Target (where I got my "Asian One") there were 2 ea of all the dolls, but the "Brown One" there were 6 or 7 available. I also noticed that she's barely represented on the other boxes... no good reason for that. I found the feet on the Made To Move are flexible enough that putting her in the high heeled "normal" Barbie shoes worked fine.
+trinlay khadro Yea, she' not represented on the other 3's boxes BUT all three are represented on HER box. The reality is, Mattel knows pretty ethnic dolls OUT SELL Blondie all day. This is why they have to under-market her and insist that she is released later than the other 3. Some people, mostly Americans, are in denial about her being apart of wave one and claim she is an "exclusive" or part of a "different wave" but the reality is, she's apart of the 1st wave and is harder to find than her lighter counterparts are intentionally. I'm not sure if you're in the states or abroad BUT America is very insecure about non-Euro peoples. Barbie dolls are a representation of people. Thanks for watching!! :))
In the US, and I was SOooooo excited to see Asian and Hispanic in the same release and the same line... (so often there's one doll doing both.) I got mine to stand, (till the cat helped) but I've got experience with BJD and a stubborn streak.

Though I myself am extremely satisfied with the range of motion in these dolls. They're amazing and they really come to life when you have a couple of them together, they look like little pixies having a meeting and talking. I kinda wish the black one had longer hair, the other dolls have pantene commercial length hair and that one's hair is really short. It leaves her with less styling options and I really like to style it. The afro pigtails looked cute though.

I know how it is with Mattel and black dolls! For a few years, the whole AG fandom has been asking for a black girl of the year! And what do we get? A girl that's only 1/8 Brazilian.
+jjrhm14 Yes. Grace from the So.In.Style line has black hair BUT it depends on what version of her you find. There are others besides Grace too BUT you'd have to get an older Barbie. The jet black hair is not something you see to much nowadays. The closest to that you'll find on a new doll is the Barbie Look Night Out. She has really dark brown shades in her hair and it's more than one shade of brown.

This doll has the Afra skin tone. The blonde MTM in pink is Neutra skin tone, the Asian MTM is Nostalgic skin tone, and the Hispanic in blue is LA Tan skin tone (I've compared them to Model Muse dolls which I already own with the Mattel/Barbie-named skin tones from the Collector site). ;)
Sweeeeet! Have you done a video on how to pierce their ears and have you ever painted their finger nails? Cause I messed up an older Barbie just to practice on and the nails came out terrible plus I used a sharpie and the tips are not fine enough....grrrr. +Beverly Rhett OMG! they told you that! That's completely insane!!!! I'm so disgusted with Mattel right now, especially becuz of the horrendous marketing they've done with this doll! And they knew it would be the most popular one, there's no doubt. Wow. I've heard the dolls are sold out in NY, doesn't help each target that happened to get her only got 4 in stock. and they are hiding them in the back rooms. It may be extreme but you may have to consider traveling to a nearby state or sending some frenz/family in other states to go hunting for you. I was able to find some in my area but we were DILIGENTLY looking for these dolls. Hopefully, new shipments will be sent out soon. Target website has all four dolls but ONLY the black one can't be added to cart! I'm so done with these ppl right now.

And I like checking paint job too. Because I don't get dolls much. So I always check if there's running paint, lip paint and even clothes.

Thanks! I'm a new subscriber. I live in NYC and have been looking, only to discover that none of the Targets or other stores in my area have her. I even called Mattel and was told she hadn't been made. I knew that wasn't true because I'd already seen a picture on a Target website.
+Beverly Rhett OMG! they told you that! That's completely insane!!!! I'm so disgusted with Mattel right now, especially becuz of the horrendous marketing they've done with this doll! And they knew it would be the most popular one, there's no doubt. Wow. I've heard the dolls are sold out in NY, doesn't help each target that happened to get her only got 4 in stock. and they are hiding them in the back rooms. It may be extreme but you may have to consider traveling to a nearby state or sending some frenz/family in other states to go hunting for you. I was able to find some in my area but we were DILIGENTLY looking for these dolls. Hopefully, new shipments will be sent out soon. Target website has all four dolls but ONLY the black one can't be added to cart! I'm so done with these ppl right now.
