@@jimmy453 think of a major scale. Give every note a number, from 1-7. In a major scale, the third note is major. If you want to make in a minor third, you can lower it by a half step. Instead, he played a neutral third, which is between the major and minor third. This is a very gross oversimplification
I do have to say, it was likely unintentionally. It's kinda ghosted and offbeat and he might have had a different note in mind than he was playing so it came out in between.
in measure 25 the rhythm is a little off, it seems you might have kind of been trying to interpret it as 'swung' playing maybe or something but he for sure plays a definitive rhythm on beat with the drums and the rest of the band in that measure
Nice! One of those solos where a transcription doesn’t do it justice.
Wow, nicely done! Love the half sharp thrown in there :)
lol yeah he fingered an e but it sounded closer to an f so i compromised ;)
I think he had a different note in mind than he was playing, so it came out in between. It does not seem intentional.
But nice spotting :D
The bad beaming is causing pain.

HEY THE BEAMS. THE BEAMS.
Dude definitely likes playing on the high side of the pitch - I love it. A true trumpet player. :)
Snarky puppy man what a band

I think it switches between a minor and b major 2 measures each
@@AdamHallacher and then at measure 24 it changes to something like B minor Cmaj7 D6 Cmaj7 (two chords per bar)
@@dishwasherdetergent3366 is it a 32 bar form or something?
