Honestly I'm more impressed with Kemp, obviously he gave up a couple big moves, but he made adjustments and fought back scoring those double legs fairly easily.

Exactly. Cook is up by 10 or 11 in the first period and wins by 6 in the end. He got out-wreaked the last two periods. He’s lucky he held on

I love how Adam adapted perfectly to Cook’s style. And this goes for all wrestlers: If you have a scrambly, tricky wrestler who can throw or complicate single legs, GO FOR THE DOUBLE. It is significantly harder to scramble out of a double leg. Great work for Adam and nice moves for Cook.

Kemp looked great. His mistakes not cooks skill decided that match imo. Kept getting his arm caught in cooks undertook every time he shot. Just gotta keep his elbows in. Both great wrestlers.

Doubles and front head locks don't shoot singles or Greco-Roman style throws as soon as someone who's good at those and top positions will be able to handle it. He's also big for the weight idk what a season schedule looks like but he's gonna be a monster for anyone if he's able to rest and not beat and break his body to bad this seasons with the cuts and wrestling match output

Are we gonna ignore the fact T.Cook stalled the entire match. Even when he had that single, he managed to stall holding his leg for like 15 seconds. It’s clear that Kemp is a better wrestler. If it wasn’t for those two lucky moves Cook would of lost this match.
