- This is a unique challenge, to see if we can finish the LTTZ missions in a trench coat with an AKS-74U
Believe or not this is quite a nuanced challenge, combining an okay firearm, with some of the worst armor in the game.
It definitely took some doing, but you'll see.. the ol' Wave likes fun challenges

Well, afaik, cannon Strelok used the Helmetless SEVA. But overcoats are more of a challenge. :)
You can always get the helmetless Seva un the trader overhaul mod
That was after he killed the C-Conciousness. Hes seen wearing the helmetless Seva in Call of Pripyat. but there are many cuscenes in Shadow of Chernobyl of him wearing many different suits. Hes wearing the Sunrise suit in the final custscene, the rookie jacket, and the trenchcoat in the nightmare.
Strelok is a legend because he destroyed the C-Conciusness with a overcoat and aks74u.
Meanwhile Beril 5M Soldiers in my playthrough were killed by 2 snorks.
That chimera running you through needs a bowling strike sound for effect lol
In Dark Signal the chimera is basically a one-shot machine for anything less than fully upgraded exoskeletons. Can't imagine how truly hair-pulling an overcoat run is even after seeing this heavily edited 16 minute vid. Especially the missions that are just full tilt shooting galleries.

note about the beginning- the nightmare is confirmed to have been just that- a nightmare, he didn't actually have to fight hordes of rats (god that would have been a nightmare)
Watching this LIVE was a blast, so many funny moments happening. I definetely recommend everyone to watch it, a lot of behind the scenes stuff. Laughed my ass off when you blew yourself with the mine lol

a tipp, when you hold down the Torch key, you can activate the Laser Sight on the BAS Weapons like the AK you got at the end :D
some got them some dont, but you figure it out very quickly by pressing the Torch key, when you hold it pressed and the flashlight just goes on, the weapon dont have a Laser, otherwise it activates it, took me 2 years to know that, never knew it was a featcher xD

You should do a stalker anomaly challenge where you can only use the weapons/items that you get from the start selection of the game. For the weapons, it's simple; You only use the weapon that you take from the points pool. For the items, you can only *buy* the items you actually choose from the point pool. If you choose a normal medkit, you can only buy normal medkits for the rest of the game. You are allowed to accept earned items from quests and those looted from the environment/bodies/stashes, though. (Excluding weapons)

This was a fun watch! I've finished Anomaly so many times to the point I've lost count so usually it doesn't interest me anymore but I loved how you edited this and your commentary was really entertaining and made the video. =)

7:24 It's called "Taking cover in the bushes". Believe it or not it's not a bug. Worked in vanilla too. It's how I always take care of the military in Cordon after I immediately start the game.

the red forest might be one of my favorite maps in the game. The fact that you need to get trough the red forest to get to the north makes the travel more engaging

Damn miracle machine... Every time o prepare for it i end up having to ditch the excess ammo and every time i half-ass it i have to slash my way out with a knife. No in betweens

Can you beat S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Anomaly as Brandon Herrera? Rules are you can only use guns based on or derived from the Kalashnikov or Makarov without deviating too much from them. Apart from AKs and Maks, that means you can use the Galil and the Stechkin, but not the SVD, SVU, or the AEK-970 series. Faction armors only. But what faction? Brandon is a "man of balance," so he wouldn't be Freedom or Duty, but would have them both as trading partners. He refers to himself as a "nerd" sometimes, so maybe ecologist or Clear Sky.
Edit/Note: Or how about a Jakobs-style allegiance run like in the Borderlands games? Specifically, guns the resemble Borderlands 2-era Jakobs. That means revolvers, double-barrel shotguns, bolt-action rifles, and semi-auto rifles or carbines. Ideally with wood to look more Jakobsy, but in this case, that wouldn't be obligatory. Vladof allegiance run would be too obvious. Basically a "Brandon Herrera challenge," but with a broader selection since all Slav guns would fit the motif.
0:09 Technically, an AKMSU but with a side-folding skeleton stock instead of a trashy under-folder. Notice the curvature of the mag. Some mods actually rename it AKMSU and have it chambered for 7.62x39mm. At least one mod has a special one that fits in your pistol slot. It's the one you find in Strelok's hideout and was modified by him. The idea is legit since the AKS-74U was issued to helicopter pilots with a hip holster, so the same could theoretically be made for the AKMSU. Btw, the AKMSU was never actually issued, but shorty AKs exist in various calibers. Zastava made the M85 in 5.56 and the M92 in 7.62x39. The Zastava M92 shows up in at least one Zone mod.

7:31 Seeing that AKMS in that stash gets me thinking. Since the dream sequence cutscene depicts an AKMSU, which is how the AKS-74U looks in the OG games, and since that gun isn't authentically in the OG games or Anomaly, could it be possible to bend the rules to include the AKMS? The only accessory you'd be allowed to use for either the AKMS or the AKS-74U would be sound suppressors. So no GP-25, no Kobra sight, no scopes. This way, you'd have two calibers to work with. Plus, you'd have two rifles playing the role of a rifle that isn't in the mod but represents a middle ground between those two rifles. Hey! And what about the unique Krink sold by Nimble? The one with the 45-round mag, integral Kobra sight, and integral suppressor. Nah, the Kobra sight disqualifies it. Plus, it lacks the wooden forearm and handguard.
In EFP 4.0 there is a stalker leaning against the wall in the 100 Rads Bar offering a reward to eliminate the top ten stalkers. Can Wavey take on the top ten on his own?

You dont need money to repair stuff, just use multitool dissemble stuff and use workshops to upgrade stuffs, change parts or even craft things from scratch.

I dont know how all of you people can just stand behind a small object and pick off all the enemies in that same spot for 10 minutes. I stand in the same spot for more than 5 seconds 10 grenades from 10 different enemies hit that exact spot almost immediately.

ive always wondered where i could find the overcoat style used in stalker games for sale... seriously does anyone know? whenever i google overcoat it brings up short coats, im looking for a hooded overcoat like the one used in this game anyone know where i can find them for sale?
search for hooded overcoats, not perfect but theyll give you that look

@@WaveysGamingAdventure it's an mmofps set in the stalker universe, originally a modpack for Minecraft but now it's on its own engine and free to play. Pretty nice so far. Stalker multiplayer is fun.
I'll admit I didn't think I would enjoy it, but for some reason it just works. Take a look.
If you downloaded the Simple Weapons Pack, you would have access to a shiny 7.62x39mm Zastava M92, which looks identical to the AK carried by nightmare Strelok. Not only that, but it would also perform way better than the AKS-74U.

Bit of a tip in case e you ever need regular 5.45. the chef in yantar exchanges various ammo for vodka. IIRC he'll give you 60 rounds of 5.45 for 4 charges worth of it, so if you end up having extra space you might wanna start stockpiling some in the cordon and rostok.

@@WaveysGamingAdventure Yeah, he does. 5,45, 12x70, 7.62x54R, 7,62x51, 9x18. And it goes way cheaper than to just buy it from traders. IIRC, 30 5,45 bullets from Petrenko goes for ~4-5K, meanwhile the barter with chief, depending on the game version you're playing, gives you somewhat between 45-60 5,45 bullets, for slightly cheaper price.
…unpopular opinion, the base AKS-74U in Anomaly is my favorite CQC weapon. I take that thing all the way through to the CNPP. just has such a good feel to it

I tried beating SoC with Strelok’s canonical loadout, AKs-74u was wayyy to inaccurate and I could hardly make it past the Red Forest.

I haven't touched this game in a while, I was going to update gamma and get back to it but nope, laptop had other ideas, as in literally just not opening the game, like even vanilla stalker it will not open the game, it'll go to the launcher than that splash screen or whatever and that's it

@@OmegaLegion isn't it also because stalker has some wierd stealth where even small bush like that can make you harder to detect?
@@matejhorvat7377 there's no such a thing in Gamma, if you're detected you can either stand and fight or run back, when you run away you can actually become stealth again towards the enemy.. but in the case in this clip foliage mod saved him..
