Hey brother. I know this video is 2 years old but... I bought a Traxxas 5000mah 4 cell battery yesterday and am trying to charge it on my Hitec charger like yours. I have a 4s adapter cord like yours I got somewhere but when I hook it up to my charger and push start the charger cooling fan comes on and both sides of my charger say "too hot" and it doesnt charge. Would love to send a pic of my adaptor to you. It appears to be a trx branded adaptor. Help?!
Not sure how I can help without seeing it in person! I don’t want my phone # on here either so I don’t know how I can help! If it’s the exact same adapter and you are hooking it up exactly like I show in the video it should be working. Make sure the battery is cool when u try to charge it. If it is then Traxxas may have changed the battery so it won’t work anymore. I’m not sure. Sorry I’m not more help. I needed money and had to get rid of all my rc’s! Now I miss em and wish I wouldn’t have sold them
@@kenny2644 hey man thanks for the quick reply. I just found another adaptor cable. Musta bought a 2 pack, and plugged it into the other port on my charger and now its charging! Not sure if it was the other adaptor or my charger giving me grief! I will do some testing but I'm charging! Thanks man. Subscribed. I'm an ebike guy too

Thanks for this, got a 3s lipo with my trx4 bronco i just bought, Have a dynamite dual charger. about to buy the traxxas plug and the banana plug to make that plug so it has balance. thanks!
I knew they had these adapters but I don't use traxxas lipos just the traxxas dual live charger that supposedly pushes 100watts a channel. I've seen it push around 8.5amps on each side at once
I totally agree that traxxas batteries are way overpriced and not that great! I just wanted to bring up something about the c rating and that is the traxxas battery states it's 25c and the other battery states it's 50c, the traxxas battery is probably just being more realistic on the c rating of the battery. The other battery might say it's 50c but I highly doubt that is accurate. With that said, I appreciate the time you take to help others in the rc community. Thank you!!

How about storage charging Traxxas batteries with a non Traxxas charger?
It’s done the same way with same connection. Just set the charger to storage mode

Well said don't buy traxxas batteries! I had one discharge to low and can't get it to recover even with all the tricks 60 bucks down the drain
something easier to do: buy a traxxas to deans adapter and use that instead(doesnt have to be deans, could be any common plug)
