Also there’s maintaining relationships with people and other hobbies you may have so someone can’t really game grind countless hours a day and still get everything done as an adult. You can’t criticize people for leveling fast . They paid the same amount as you did. Maybe they have friends they’re trying to catch up to or a newborn baby? Have you ever tried to be a gamer with a newborn baby? Who knows the circumstances people are in.

I believe I have found the fastest method yet to getting to gear score soft cap 130 in a few hours. After you beat the main campaign and get the 2nd vault mission called snowy tundra vault, you set the difficulty to challenge 4, and ignore all of the enemies to just go for the chests. As soon as the mission starts you head forward to the giant wall with the doorway and there should be a chest up top there that you can loot with 3 different spawn points in close proximity. Then you enter the large doorway and head a little left while looking for question mark spots to more easily find all of the chests on the map. And just sort of go from left to right getting all of the chests ending at the giant satellite dish or the little buildings near it. In a good run using what I’d recommend a flying character you can get about 10 to 11 chests in like 5 minutes. Once you’ve done that head back to the quinjet and repeat.
Doesn't difficulty have no factor in getting higher power gear though? Pretty sure it scales off the highest power gear you have in your current hero's inventory
The gear drops will either match or be 10 power levels higher than the current equipped character. Even if it’s an exotic or rare gear item the level will only be as high as the current character and surrounding gear.
Another fast way to level up is doing the vault mission Secret Within. I get a good 2 levels a run on that mission. Just rescue the first agent then defend the second set and head straight to the vault.
I've just been leveling up using assault missions. I gain about 2 levels on average per assault mission. Granted it's not super fast but I did get black widow from level 10 to 37 in about an hour and a half.
@@ihateflatbunz well 4 hrs later I went from 1 - 30. But I did do some quests to get better gear with my Thor before going back in. Plus pausing to get drinks, random google searches, researching builds ect. lol I seem to get a level every 6+ Min while grinding tho
One problem I usually have with games like this is that it’s either too hard and takes forever to level up, or it’s super easy, basically just nothing, this game has a good combo, it’s easy to rank up, but the enemies are hard
@@SupaDopex3 uhh they move you up 11 points, only 200 points to max the card I believe, there's a bug though where you don't level your card at all, so that's probably why yours isn't going up
@@goosbums1 more so depends on your tree skills and gear. Hulk is op if you make him tanky/dps. You can clear entire rooms with cap straight range build with just shield throws.
That depends on your skills and gear. If you got pretty good gear with at least 3 skills unlocked to get some good combos and mixups. You'll be alright but only if you have the skill to adapt.

Leveling is pretty easy. The problem using the harm rooms is that you don't get any gear. So, for me it's useless. But thanks for the tips and all your efforts showing this. You're doing a great job!
Update 9/7/2020: The tactic still works. Just tried it on Hulk and Black widow. PS4 latest update 1.05. Kamala would be the only one that doesn't work on because she has to heal during the last phase.
I just tried it on PS4/1.05/Hulk and it took over 10 minutes for 1 level up, i was killing enemies as soon as they spawned. Don't think its working, either that or theres a bit of detail missing to fully replicate. I attempted the last method you used in your video.
I did this method unintentially That's what i call a pro gamer move GOOD TIP 👍🏻 Also try replaying the last mission and when you play as thor don't use the bifrost on modak and you have endless waves of high end enemies
It still kinda works it's just very slow it usually takes me 4:30 to 5 mins a level but I got my thor from 13-20 in about 25-30mins still would do it it's probably one of the best ways still
The last method works well if your character has very good aoe. Thor as shown in the video for example. The last method also Shouldn’t be used at lvl 1. That method requires u to kill very fast. At level one thats not practical synthoids give the lowest exp in the game but they spawn infinitely with little to no delay on the respawn. So your xp rate for the method is based upon your time to kill in the last method. Hope this hlps anyone who might be fustrated that its not giving as much xp as hes getting.
What drives me crazy about this game there’s no party levelling like in 99% of RPGs. This makes getting every hero to level 50 so much of a grind that it gets repetitive and boring fast if you’re playing solo.
I think that was the whole point! Glad they didn’t. People then will complain either way. People either crying about the grind, or they’re crying about party leveling. They made so people have something to do, and it’s not that completed the game in 2 days and I’m bored.

Nah that would be shitty. Allow people to have their fun leveling and build up their characters. That would ruin whole aspect of the game and why you want to play it.
as a cap main, I suggest doing regular mission at minimum challenge II so you get gear at the same time. Keep in mind doing these "fast method" doesnt provide gear to salvage for materials that are much needed to upgrade from 130 to 150
Just an update. Im focusing on khamala next and her own mission on the harm room doesn't work for her. Your better off doing the Hives or the Harm challenges. Which im working on the harm challenge 1 just for those who are curious.
Not Disney’s fault. The company had a ceo who was doing some skeezy stuff. And instead of stepping down like Disney asked he said no and the company backed him so Disney took the license away. You know house of mouse don’t like stuff like that to be tied to them.
This game reminds me of Anthem so much. Last night I played a multiplayer mission where the enemy wouldn't spawn anymore, which was the objective. We ran around for 20 mins before I quit because we couldn't finish the mission. Bugs all throughout this game. Same gameplay loop and everything. I love both games and subscribed to him because he does cover a lot of under appreciated games like Anthem and No Mans Sky. Now he's covering Mavel Avengers and he's doing a great job as usual.
This Is Not Patched It's Still Working, Just Got My Thor From Lvl 15 to 42, currency I'm on lvl 44 but I done this to rank up from 15 to 42! Make sure you avenger has Atleast power lvl 20+ so it will become quicker to kill enemies, I was ranking up a lvl 2mins flat give or take

Idk if this still works just tried with my level 31 black widow during the infinite spawning bits and for 10 minutes straight taking out 50+ enemies DIDNT level up once

I recommend just doing missions as normal as you will need the scrap to lvl up past the 130 mark .Im 147 thor need 120+ upgrade modules ,out of chests or exchanged through vendor with 250 scrap
They fixed that hero specific harm challenge.. when the timer runs out on the 1st wave it resets back to 1 once you use your power and your counter starts going up
This works for sure .. and my fastest was 1 minute and 30 seconds with thor and it was easier the higher I got .. he is so beast on this game .. from 49 to 50 was just over one minute
This is patched now. Went up 2 Levels in 20 or so Minutes. They also start with you low health and make it hard to gain it back. Unfortunate but wouldn’t wanna spend upwards of 6 hours per day levelling up hero doing the same thing over and over...
@@joshturner7400 about the health for some reason I was getting health drops but tbh if you know what's your doing (whit thor at least) you can be at 10% of health and still complete it by pressing R2 or RT to push them when you see the enemies whit the white circle.
Yeah, I know you said it in the other video, I'm not sure if they nerfed the amount of XP you get, but they made it so you don't start with all three abilities in this, even though you used to, and you do in all of the levels
I love this game I like a challenge so I play every single mission on challenge 3 or 4 (better gear drops) I’m not lazy so by time Hawkeye DLC comes all my hero’s will be damn near 50 lvl maxed And 150
I use each character's training room to complete their daily and weekly challenges. If it's about killing a specific enemy type and the room doesn't have that then obviously it doesn't work, but annoying generic things like "get a 3 hit combo on an airborne enemy", "kill enemies with headshots" or "kill enemies with combo finishers"? It's so much better than trying to do it in a normal mission where everyone else in my team just kills the enemy before I can do what I want. I really hope it doesn't get patched. But if it does, then at least they should make some of those challenges way less annoyingly specific too.

I'm coming from GTA Online too XD But to be fair, the Avengers' devs have been patching the game breaking bugs lately (because obviously there were and there still are a lot) and leaving the easy alternatives to grind alone. I'm not sure they'll keep that up after the first weeks or months, since that's when they need to boost the game's popularity the most, and since the alternatives are one of the only things that could make their monetization harder, I don't expect then to be around for long, unfortunately. But considering the backlash this game has been getting, maybe there won't be a time when they think they've done enough. Like I said, this isn't GTA Online, a game from a legendary franchise that became easily one of the most popular mainstream online games in history. This is a game that has been taking a lot of crap from many critics - and would probably take it anyway, since just being an Avengers game is enough for people to consider it a "lazy cash grab from a big IP". The devs are well aware of the criticism they're getting, *and that's a great thing,* because it makes them work harder to fix it all and make the game better in general. In other words, I'd rather have a problematic game that is at least trying hard to get better (and even doing a lot in that regard so far) than one that is already convinced it's got it's players on the palm of its hand, and can do and ignore whatever it wants without major consequences. I *really* wouldn't like this to become the hellhole that is current GTA Online.

Is anyone else having trouble? Granted I'm only power level 9 on Iron Man, but his first HARM level was kicking my ass. Took maybe 5-6 attempts. I just kept running out of life on the 3rd wave. Fucking ranged enemies hitting me with no warning slowly bled me down.
I plan to take at least a year to get most of my people levelled up and have a good amount of their cosmetics unlocked, because for some reason I get bored of a game once I have got everything in it, and I don't want that to spoil a game as great as this.
That's the only problem with this game, the gear score! It's silly to have gear score in a superhero game like this, especially with such an in depth skill tree and unlockable cosmetic skins! They should have taken out the gear score and finding the same "invisible" gear aka chest, arm pieces and just had you use the XP level up in order to unlock certain cosmetic skins and each skin just have the special boosters or abilities! Similar to how Spiderman PS4 handled their game. Other than the gear score items and me going into my menu every 5 minutes to change out pieces I'm having a blast

Ms Marvel is the only character I have that has a power ranking lower than the level ranking. Right now she has a power of 42 and a level ranking of 50. I am not sure but it seems like I can increase her power ranking as fast as other characters. I made a mistake and powered up all her current equipment. Does anyone have any advice?
Its not hard just keep playing. Btw just my opinion the fast leveling tricks should come when you reach a level that you have obtained all the necesary upgrades. Bcus you wont enjoy the game and usually call it shit af
So i Hit 50 with just farming an elite hive on normal for about 3 hours from lvl 38 but once i hit 50 I haven't got any gear higher than 103 on brutal no matter where i go. Is my game bugged or am i doing something wrong? Please help.
The combo doesnt work tho, with thor you can parry without interrupting your attacks, no such things as cap, iron man, widow, ms. marvel. so the combo is worthless, any way you think it might be do-able because you have to parry to ofter to be able to get 4 consecutive hits off
I took off tues to fri and ended up leveling 5 characters to 50. I found a awesome map that I was getting 6 levels in 30-35 min once I got the handle on it and where everything was. Hulk is the last one I have left to do and the map has mad loot too always drops a legendary in the end if u do it 100% also randomly drops them too just don’t remember the name and not home to check I think it’s called Bad Blood. I did campaign to end so think it unlocked that way.
Let's see if we can break some records. My personal best was 2 minutes and 37 seconds for 1 level. Let me know what's your fastest!

Playing as Captain American is too fun. I see why they didn’t have him in the main story too much. I can’t stop myself from playing him

What difficulty are you doing it on? I tried it on easy on the Xbox and it took me 10 minutes for one level

Well it doesn't work for me on PS4 spent 20 minutes trying I got one level from 21 to 22. Got three levels from the mission with abomination.

I recommend just doing missions as normal as you will need the scrap to lvl up past the 130 mark .Im 147 thor need 120+ upgrade modules ,out of chests or exchanged through vendor with 250 scrap

They fixed that hero specific harm challenge.. when the timer runs out on the 1st wave it resets back to 1 once you use your power and your counter starts going up
This works for sure .. and my fastest was 1 minute and 30 seconds with thor and it was easier the higher I got .. he is so beast on this game .. from 49 to 50 was just over one minute

This is patched now. Went up 2 Levels in 20 or so Minutes. They also start with you low health and make it hard to gain it back. Unfortunate but wouldn’t wanna spend upwards of 6 hours per day levelling up hero doing the same thing over and over...

@@joshturner7400 about the health for some reason I was getting health drops but tbh if you know what's your doing (whit thor at least) you can be at 10% of health and still complete it by pressing R2 or RT to push them when you see the enemies whit the white circle.
Yeah, I know you said it in the other video, I'm not sure if they nerfed the amount of XP you get, but they made it so you don't start with all three abilities in this, even though you used to, and you do in all of the levels
I love this game I like a challenge so I play every single mission on challenge 3 or 4 (better gear drops) I’m not lazy so by time Hawkeye DLC comes all my hero’s will be damn near 50 lvl maxed And 150
It is still working on ps4 and some of you have mentioned the timer. It doesn't get activated until you start using your heroic ability

I use each character's training room to complete their daily and weekly challenges. If it's about killing a specific enemy type and the room doesn't have that then obviously it doesn't work, but annoying generic things like "get a 3 hit combo on an airborne enemy", "kill enemies with headshots" or "kill enemies with combo finishers"? It's so much better than trying to do it in a normal mission where everyone else in my team just kills the enemy before I can do what I want.
I really hope it doesn't get patched. But if it does, then at least they should make some of those challenges way less annoyingly specific too.
Lmao hate when devs patch fast and easy ways to bypass the boring grind. But don't bother to patch the game breaking bugs.

But to be fair, the Avengers' devs have been patching the game breaking bugs lately (because obviously there were and there still are a lot) and leaving the easy alternatives to grind alone.
I'm not sure they'll keep that up after the first weeks or months, since that's when they need to boost the game's popularity the most, and since the alternatives are one of the only things that could make their monetization harder, I don't expect then to be around for long, unfortunately.
But considering the backlash this game has been getting, maybe there won't be a time when they think they've done enough. Like I said, this isn't GTA Online, a game from a legendary franchise that became easily one of the most popular mainstream online games in history. This is a game that has been taking a lot of crap from many critics - and would probably take it anyway, since just being an Avengers game is enough for people to consider it a "lazy cash grab from a big IP". The devs are well aware of the criticism they're getting, *and that's a great thing,* because it makes them work harder to fix it all and make the game better in general.
In other words, I'd rather have a problematic game that is at least trying hard to get better (and even doing a lot in that regard so far) than one that is already convinced it's got it's players on the palm of its hand, and can do and ignore whatever it wants without major consequences. I *really* wouldn't like this to become the hellhole that is current GTA Online.

Ohhh so you can just keep doing the hero specific harm rooms over and over for exp? Nice ill try this before a patch might come. Kind of odd how the timer doesnt go down lol
Your 3rd method with the HARM room has been patched. I tried it just now and I wasn't getting any Exp at all from killing enemies.

You cant do that in avenger initiative tho. You choose the difficulty and you cant change it afterwards
Is anyone else having trouble? Granted I'm only power level 9 on Iron Man, but his first HARM level was kicking my ass. Took maybe 5-6 attempts. I just kept running out of life on the 3rd wave. Fucking ranged enemies hitting me with no warning slowly bled me down.

Takes me about 7m30s to gain a level up as Widow using a build that focuses around always having intrinsic meter maxed
I plan to take at least a year to get most of my people levelled up and have a good amount of their cosmetics unlocked, because for some reason I get bored of a game once I have got everything in it, and I don't want that to spoil a game as great as this.

How come that your Thor receives no damage from the lasers?
That's the only problem with this game, the gear score! It's silly to have gear score in a superhero game like this, especially with such an in depth skill tree and unlockable cosmetic skins! They should have taken out the gear score and finding the same "invisible" gear aka chest, arm pieces and just had you use the XP level up in order to unlock certain cosmetic skins and each skin just have the special boosters or abilities! Similar to how Spiderman PS4 handled their game. Other than the gear score items and me going into my menu every 5 minutes to change out pieces I'm having a blast

@@jacoblarson8113 ranged is 544 melee is 408. Idk if Iron Man's grounded laser attacks scale with might or precision. Because it's on a melee button. Know what I mean?
Hitting is not enough. You have to kill them. The faster you kill the faster you get exp

just do the Iconic missions they are relatively short and i was getting about 3-4 levels per mission
I don’t know if it’s the update or not, but this flat out doesn’t work. I did it with hulk for an hour and went up 4 levels.
And doing this you will get random comics that boost your stats
Try hives i got black widow to level 50 in a couple of hours. Its better because you get gear aswell as levels

I think this only works for Thor because of AOE getting double kill bonuses.

Ms Marvel is the only character I have that has a power ranking lower than the level ranking. Right now she has a power of 42 and a level ranking of 50. I am not sure but it seems like I can increase her power ranking as fast as other characters. I made a mistake and powered up all her current equipment. Does anyone have any advice?

Its not hard just keep playing. Btw just my opinion the fast leveling tricks should come when you reach a level that you have obtained all the necesary upgrades. Bcus you wont enjoy the game and usually call it shit af
Hopefully they'll fix some of the glitching before trying to take this away

So i Hit 50 with just farming an elite hive on normal for about 3 hours from lvl 38 but once i hit 50 I haven't got any gear higher than 103 on brutal no matter where i go. Is my game bugged or am i doing something wrong? Please help.
The combo doesnt work tho, with thor you can parry without interrupting your attacks, no such things as cap, iron man, widow, ms. marvel. so the combo is worthless, any way you think it might be do-able because you have to parry to ofter to be able to get 4 consecutive hits off
If you gain the same amount of XP no matter what difficulty, then what is the point of having that option?
I took off tues to fri and ended up leveling 5 characters to 50. I found a awesome map that I was getting 6 levels in 30-35 min once I got the handle on it and where everything was. Hulk is the last one I have left to do and the map has mad loot too always drops a legendary in the end if u do it 100% also randomly drops them too just don’t remember the name and not home to check I think it’s called Bad Blood. I did campaign to end so think it unlocked that way.
