I get usually 2-3 plates and desert on a normal buffet.. If it's a seafood/crab legs, I get at least 2 plates of crab legs to start, because that can never fill me up and it takes a minute to eat.
Every Rampart video I've seen, it always looks good! Since I drive to Vegas it's worth it to me to make the trip there! Took a screenshot of the themed nights for future reference too! Another great foodie video!
We love the JW Marriot and the Rampart Casino, it's our favorite place to stay when we go to Las Vegas and we go 3-4x a year. Have been staying there since it's start as "The Resort at Summerlin" back 25 yrs ago. The rooms are all large suites and have just recently got a full refresh and are very nice. The casino isn't too big but just the right size to have decent variety and they actually have machines that don't vaporize your bankroll. Thanks for the buffet review Matthew, we love all your content and your honest reviews. You owe it to yourself to try staying at the resort for a few days, the grounds are so relaxing, and the casino is so much fun! The buffet on days when they serve prime rib is even better, all their stations have quality options as you found out so you need to go back again soon! They also have a very good Italian restaurant and their high end Hawthorn grill is outstanding as well. If you take a trip out from the strip for the buffet you may find it's much cheaper playing in the casino so that should offset any transportation to & from if you were playing at a strip casino.
I love a good Buffet! Mirage had a really nice one as well as Treasure Island. Back in 1990’s I loved the Bellagios 😊😊❤❤❤ But your meal looked fabulous…❤
Looks good Matthew !! The price point as well. I get over there every trip to Vegas but I usually go next door to the Suncoast. I do miss going to the buffets but at my age I don't get around much enough to work all that terrific food off !! You'll have to do it for me !! Enjoy !!
Great video. Will definitely check this buffet out next time I am in Vegas. This is in line with the price and quality of Biloxi buffets. The Beau Rivage lunch buffet (21.99) and the Palace Casino lunch Buffet (18.99) are way better than any Vegas strip buffet at a fraction of the price. The food you were eating looked delicious. I have been going to Biloxi more frequently now because the food prices are so much cheaper, the casinos are just as good, and it is closer to me. But if I am going to do Vegas again, this is the place for me. And South Point.
A E-scooter from the strip to Rampart would be a epic live stream 😂😂 the amazing thing about vegas is that 8 mile drive is non stop restaurants and businesses any route you take
An O.K. value for a Buffet off the strip. Next time you visit the Sun Coast, suggest you try the $9.99 lunch special at Taste of Asia served from Noon to 3 P.M.. I believe the best lunch special for a restaurant in Las Vegas! Than you for your video review.
Hi Matthew, it’s grandma Debbie and Charli here in Nebraska. Hope you’re having fun in Vegas. We love you. Say hi to baby Leo, mama Amanda, and the new baby girl.🙏🏼🥰🧘♀️
As tight as the machines are at the Rampart if you are a gambler it makes no sense to go there to eat because your $20 (or $100 bill) after your meal will go like water so how much did you really save?
On my next visit, I am leaning toward visiting off strip places. I have to rent a car anyway. This looks pretty simple but good enough. 21.00 on the strip is a tiny cheeseburger and 9 fries.
Yeah, I think with the cost of 2-way Uber and the buffet , I'd find a buffet closer or on the strip. I think Sahara has a buffet, don't they? I wonder how much that would be.
Ever since I had the ole weight loss surgery a couple of years ago, I can't hit up a buffet. I had the gastric sleeve done, where 80% of your stomach is removed, and I can only eat about 8oz of food a sitting. Which is a bite here, a bite there, and than another bite for good measure...and done. I mean, losing 85lbs feels great...but I get kind of jealous when watching you taking in some food sometimes. I used to love a good buffet, but now...for me it just doesn't make any sense. The last time I tried to take on a buffet was at The Palms for their Lobster and Crab buffet that they have on Weds & Thurs nights. Even though I could have a lobster, and a tail and a bite...and I mean, a singular bite, my disappointment was that it just wasn't worth it for me. I do love your Vegas foodie reviews, and will continue on with my envious watch sessions. HA!
@@SayHiToMatthew when my wife and I went in August, we found the whole lobsters were a little overcooked. As a New Englander (who now lives in AZ), I can surely tell. The lobster tails were much better and pretty tasty, as well as the crab legs. Also, the prime rib was perfect. All in all, it was pretty good. We didn't get to try much else of the buffet, as we were concentrating on eating as much of the seafood offerings we could, as our stomachs don't really hold as much as yours seems to. Your metabolism must be through the roof. Either that or you must workout 8 hrs a day. Our next trip out to Vegas in January, we are looking forward to checking out Dons Prime at Fontainebleau. We saw your review of that and it looks pretty amazing. Hope to run into you some time, and we're always on the lookout for you...and well...Vegas Matt and crew. Thanks Matthew!

How come you dont rent a car when you visit vegas? Its much cheaper than Uber/cabs... that way you can visit a lot of local spots...and dont forget to visit Red Rock Canyon!
I used to be a "me vs buffet, the goal is to win". So you avoid carbs, just stick to the meats. But now, whatever, get what you like, don't have to make yourself sick eating too much. The goal isn't go get $21 worth of food (or $49 or $75 or whatever the buffet costs), you don't do that at any other restaurant. Stop making buffets a contest, people.
@SayHiToMatthew I'm a downtown guy. Pizza Rock for happy hour. The meatballs and fried zucchini are bomb. Not to mention the discounted pizza. Hugo's or Oscar's. Eureka has good food. Hot dogs at The D. Thanks for all the great content Matthew.

I *really* have to stop watching your food videos at night... making me hungry at midnight!! Great fooood video, as always.

Hello 👋 Matthew. Awesome Price for a buffet . Hello 👋 to Greta and Pompsie . Thank you for sharing your food videos ❤
For anyone curious why Pompsie and Greta weren’t on camera, it’s because they legally can’t appear unless it’s related to their slot channel.
No one wants to see Pompsie anyways. Also how is his slot channel keeping him from appearing in other channels?!!

Nicely priced option with tasty food if you have a rental car but I wouldn’t uber out there specifically for the buffet uber cost negates the savings
Looks really good, I’d be down to go and make an afternoon of it to gamble and chill. Especially as it’s a locals spot.

Don't pay $27 each way for an Uber. Take the public transportation, i.e. bus, for just a few bucks! Save nearly $50!
How long would that take?
@@SayHiToMatthewPublic transport like buses may be more economical but … waiting on the bus ???? You have to have a plan for public transport
