I have been experimenting with Hydroponic for over a year now, and everything I've learned is from watching other people's channels. As mentioned in the video, some of the people I have been following are listed below. These guys are amazing and are always helpful with every questions I sent their ways. You'll be glad to visit their channels, there are so much information there.

Dear Kang, thank you for your great videos, I like them very much. I grow chili peppers for three years now (soil) and thanks to you i'm gonna try a hydroponic system I found on the street. Awesome! I have one question: Can I use seedlings I started in soil for a hydroponic system? They are in the 2-4 leaf stadium.

Out of all the videos, this video truly added to my baffled mind what actually should be added to water ! Other experienced TH-camrs, go on and on about how to start but do not go into details as you did! Thank you for being so detailed.
I have a question about water: did you use just plain tap water? What if you want to further make it simple and not care about PH of water, will it still work? What would happen if the PH is off or high😂
If it is high or low, how do you be ng it to the 6-7 range? What do you add to make it right?
Can you do a video about my questions? Thank you very much!
Is it safe to eat lettuce or other things grown with these chemicals?

when pouring from a container that has its hole on one side of it, turn the container so hole is at the top when you pour. When you do this you will get a steady pour not a mess like your use to.

If you lower the ph level of the rockwool it will speed up germination time, it's almost imperative for autoflowering. Also don't change the ph level of your feed water until after you have mixed the nutrients and 1ml each of the three part mix is basically a seedlings mix, you will need to up the dose after a few weeks

  • @richh7666

I know this video is old and not sure if you've changed your methods but adjusting pH prior to adding nutrients creates a false pH reading when you feed your plants as nutrients cause pH fluctuations as they are mixed. pH should be adjusted after adding all the nutrients to verify that you are feeding the correct pH to your plants.
On the other hand, if you're experienced in mixing and knowing exactly how your nutrients will shift your pH, then adjusting will not apply.

Is the cal-mag, calcium nitrate and magnesium sulfate correct? and the Epsom salt is also magnesium sulfate?
would it be cheaper to buy pure calcium nitrate and epsom salt/ magnesium sulfate and mix in 3g/each per gallon or does the cal-mag provide extra nutrients or beneficial bacteria?

  • @MrGazolin3

If you Ph your nutrient solution to 5.8 afterwards then your plants feed proper.
Ph-ing before adding your solution will not keep it at 5.8. It will change drastically down or up.
So you're trully not giving them their optimal feeding level with bad Ph-ing.
    Always Ph after. Cheers!

I use to do the same thing and I would add my flora/3 & cal/mag then check the ph only to find its way off again. I will say GH flora micro/grow/flower for the money is some really good nutes! Just use half of what they call for! your ladies will thank you for it. There in the business of selling so naturally there going to tell you to use more than is needed.

Can you please explain what water did you use? Distilled or plain tap water? What if Ph in water was off ? What would happen if you didn’t care about the ph levels? No one mentions such things. You have so many details please give clarity on my questions s I am frugal and low maintenance type. What if you do not want to invest in gadgets to check ph 😂 ?
Also, is it healthy to use those chemicals in our food? The bottles look scary as to what are we eating? Thank you so much for many details!

+Khang, I tried this mix with my chili pepper plants and found that it had too much Nitrogen for the plants and caused a bunch of problems with them. Through some experimenting I have found an awesome mix that you might want to try with them. It is 1/4 tsp FloraMicro, 2 tsp FloraGrow, 3 tsp FloraBloom, 1 tsp CalMag Plus, 1/2 tsp Epsom Salt. Since using this mix with both my soil and fully hydroponic plants I have had more growth in the last week than I have in the last month.

Could you please help me resolve my few doubts..
If I'm growing tomatoes in cocopeat medium, should i be circulating nutrient solution every day three times ? Wouldn't over fertilize and wilt?
Or should i be feeding nutrient solution once or twice a week and feed rest of the time water??
I'm doing soilless tomato growing in cocopeat and im afraid of over fertilizing ? Pls help since its hydroponics method nutrient water feeding 3 times a day makes sense but will it cause over fertilizing?
