Nice comparison vid! I have a LC80 and I just got my ascent 18 today. Both are really nice rigs and I cant wait to mod my ascent to see if it can outperform my LC80.
Nice work brother ill finally be able to do mine i got the replacement esc to my redcat so now its time to do everything i have on my content list thats pending for this redcat lol shes working beautifully now with the new esc no probs
it does, but also these don't come out the box with the same tires either. My newer vs vid I talk about getting some tires so the trucks can be compared again.
@user-pp1im2ng2b Overpriced? The FCX24M is $120 and had a 2-spd. The LC80 is $180 and has portals and a two speed. The Ascent-18 is only $120, and very capable, but way too light. You’ll be spending $250 in upgrades before it will be very good.

Which one is quicker. I want to do a 1/18 scale body swap. I know the lc80 is 2 speed. Can you do a high speed test between the two.
I want something that has low speed & high speed too.
I'm leaning more towards the lc80 because of the lights being already there. & Its 2 speed transmission.

Were they both stock
they both had wheel weights. The redcat has some cheap Amazon tires because they glued the tires on the plastic wheels.
Where do you buy the wheel weights for the redcat?
